en god frisk hell øl. Købt i Hoffmann i Flensburg til de sædvanlige gode tyske priser på tysk øl. Det gør at den er alle pengene værd. rodsquad (243) - Aberdeen, SCOTLAND - JUL 14, 2017
Bottle from Westhill Service Station. Sometimes feels like a treat to break out the pint glass so it’s nice to see a 500ml bottle for a drink of this kind. It looks pretty generic truth be told with a clear light gold (a little coppery tinge) with a thin quickly vanishing white head. Nothing terrible but nothing inspiring. The aromas are light with a sweet fruitiness and butter biscuits. There’s light toffee also but the butter biscuits is the prominent element. With the taste, the light buttery sweetness of the nose is here but offset with a substantial earthy bitterness. Somewhere in there I got nice cleansing melon too. The palate is great with a light to medium smooth feel and a tight refreshing fizz. This is light, mellow and with the help of a leafy green bitterness it’s beautifully balanced and refreshingly moreish. There’s no bold elements here but there is a hugely popular style of beer brewed incredibly well. herrklemann (270) - Graz, AUSTRIA - JUL 6, 2017
Bottle. Gold with a medium white head. Grains, grass, light honey, green hops. Dry, crisp, lightly bitter. Light body, with almost fizzy carbonation. Classic, a tad more boring than Edelstoff.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with three finger creamy white head. Pretty good retention. Grainy, herbal nose. Good malt character.
Thin body, watery texture, light on the tongue. Average carbonation, a bit prickly. Slight tartness in the taste. Moderately bitter later on, but quite mild. Easy drinking. Aroma nothing to write home about really. Quite grainy with too strong corn presence. Slight maltiness. A bit grassy with some earthy hops lurking in the background. No real finish to speak of.
Overall, average. Drinkable? Yes. Spectacular? No. Decent thirst quencher but nothing more than that.
