Bottle from Herman Ze German, London. Nose is spicy and wheat. Pours clear light gold with little head. Taste of slight honey, wheat and a slight bitterness. Not bad.

Keg @Augustiner Bierhalle, Munich. 03-08-2016.
Tasty helles, quite sweet, ends a little bitter. Fantastic appearance, very clean bright gold.

Nearly exemplary for the style. Drunk in blind tasting with 4 others Hells. This came out 2nd top, behind camden. How you can rate this anything but 5 for appearance and palate is beyond me. Aroma could probably be slightly more (though I doubt the freshness of my bottle) and it could have a little more malt character. Apart form that it’s perfect.

Boca 0.5L - ravno iz obećane zemlje - iznenađujuće fin lager, svjetlo žuta boja, u okusu kao da se osjeti meda, malo i slatkast okusom....veselim se ponovnom susretu...

0,5 l Flasche. Aroma: Malzig, würzig, Zwiebel. Erscheinung: gelbes Bier, grobporiger, weißer Schaum, schöne Gardine. Geschmack: malzig süß, gleichzeitig leicht säuerlich, Zwiebel. Nachgeschmack: leichte Schärfe im Abgang. Gesamt: enttäuschend, da ja auch sehr beliebt.

Bottled, in some pub in Liverpool. Clear golden colored, big white head. Very pleasant German lager nose, hops, grain, some keller aroma as well. Bittersweet flavor, hops and malts, bit bready, bit yeasty. Lasting bitter finish. Only Germans can make a fantastic Helles like this.

Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - DEC 6, 2016
Bottle. Clear yellow. Decent head. Aroma is subdued. Grainy, bready. Taste is the same but also features some spicyness. It’s also a little bit sweet. I’m not the biggest fan of Helles as a style but this is a good one and goes down oh so easy.

MrHangover (4507) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2016
Bottle. Pours a clear, very light golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is very light, some grainy lager notes, slight skunk. Flavor is mildly bittersweet, again very lager-ish and not really special or anything. Softly carbonated, short light bitter aftertaste. Very dull and boring, but nothing wrong with it and I could session this.
