anstei (2610) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - NOV 6, 2017
Bottle. Pours clear yellow. Aroma is skunk, cat piss, citric hops. Body is light, softly sweet and bitter, malt forward, but with an almost crisp carbonation to balance this out. Okay.

WillemsUrenkel (2020) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - OCT 14, 2017
0,5 l bottle from Getränkefeinkost Lüneburg. Pours out clear golden with a more than two finger white head. Malty grainy smell. Taste starts with malt and sweet caramell. Grainy background. Low bitterness. High carbonated. Easy drinking stuff.

2.2
herrklemann (445) - Graz, AUSTRIA - SEP 30, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2017 Tap. Dense white head on a clear yellow body. Sweet grains, some hay, some cardboard, fermentation aromas, a bit boozy. Medium to strong sweetness, almost no bitterness. Slick oily body with lively carbonation. Amped up Helles, but not in a good way. I prefer the lower ABV quite a bit. The booziness messes with the other - possible - qualities.

3.5
FireGlider (702) - Zagreb, CROATIA - SEP 30, 2017
On tap at Augustiner Klosterwirt, Munich. Clear golden color with big thick white head. Light grain aroma with some bread and hay. Sweet grain taste.

tgrtnr (324) - Augsburg, Bavaria, GERMANY - SEP 18, 2017
500 ml bottle. Pours bright golden with decent white head. Grain, bread, hay, citrus. Malty sweetness with slight bitter hint. Lively carbonated, medium bodied. A bit dull though. Sticky finish. Average Märzen. Like a stronger Augustiner Hell.

3.1
Moravius (1445) - Berlin, GERMANY - SEP 12, 2017
„Augustinerbräu Oktoberfest Bier“, Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding. - Satt goldgelb, blank.

ThirstyBird (2997) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2017
On tap at the Manchester Beer Festival. Pours a clear golden yellow with an off white head. The smell is toasted grain, grass, hint of honey sweetness. The taste is sweet toasted malt, grass, some light fruit ending somewhat hoppy and dry. Light+ in body with fine carbonation...quite smooth.

2.9
jjsint (3493) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2017
Bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. Drunk at home. Straw, clear with a thin head and a fair bit of carbonation. Malt with an earthy/leafy/muddy note. The taste is sweet with a note of citrus bitterness in the end. Thin body with notes of honey in the aftertaste. It’s not a great beer but it’s drinkable enough on a Saturday night.
