I’ve got this beer in a bottle from a friend who bought it at Oktoberfest. It has clear golden look with minimal white head. It has light bitter taste and because of that you can really enjoy this beer. Very drinkable.

BlackHaddock (7329) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 25, 2012
Brown 500ml bottle, very close to its best before date (end of Jan 2010, drank mid Jan 2010). Poured twice into a ’La Chouffe’ stemmed tulip glass. Mid gold/pilsner yellow in colour, paler than the draught version if my memory serves me correctly. Same white head sat on top though. Slightly sweet malt aroma, otherwise very little smell comes from the beer. Very easy to drink with a good marzen fel and taste to it, not rich, but heavy and deep in its flavours. I must admit the fresh draught version in a litre stein at the Munich O’fest is a whole lot better, but you can’t review while drinking at the O’fest can you?

it’s yellow golden with a small head, and the aroma has notes of malt, grain, light straw and fruit. The flavour has a light sweetness and the same notes as the aroma + a touch of alcohol. The finish is dry.

Really enjoyable in Wiesn. One of the better tents and the beer goes with it.

erschiuma (67) - ITALY - OCT 22, 2011

Ízében is inkább a malátás, édeskés jegyek a jellemzők, de végig ott van benne kísérőként a kesernyés komló is. Közepesen testes és buborékos. Utóíze keserédes, a legvégén kissé száraz. Nagyon kiegyensúlyozott, elég fűszeres és igen "önitatós" fajta fesztivál sör, ami igazi társasági ital.

EdKing (2586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2011
Keg in Craft Beer Co. Colour is amber. Nose is sweet, malty, bit of grain. Taste is sweet, bready then with a nice crisp hop finish.

inbirraveritas (1576) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 14, 2011
Clear golden pour with a medium sized, loose structured white head, which diminishes with time completely. Sweet-hoppy smell. Slick, oily textured brew with a biscuit malty base escorted by fresh hay/grass and dough underpainted by alcohol. It finishes medium to long and dry with spices and alcohol. Balanced, good one.

DuffMan (10425) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 11, 2011
On tap @ the brauhaus in Munich. Clear medium gold, frothy white crown. Sweet bready malt, marzipan nuances, subtle hop note in the finish. Just okay really.

dfinney23 (3269) - Houston, Texas, USA - OCT 9, 2011
At Oktoberfest. Foamy white head enhanced by the one-liter dimpled mug. Nice malt/hop balance.
