ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 15, 2011
Sörspecialista, Budapest + München, Oktoberfest Világos aranysárga színe van, ami belül kristálytisztán csillog. Habja tejfehér, apró buborékokkal teli és elég kitartó. Illata édeskés, malátás kissé fűszeres és komlós. Ízében is inkább a malátás, édeskés jegyek a jellemzők, de végig ott van benne kísérőként a kesernyés komló is. Közepesen testes és buborékos. Utóíze keserédes, a legvégén kissé száraz. Nagyon kiegyensúlyozott, elég fűszeres és igen "önitatós" fajta fesztivál sör, ami igazi társasági ital.

EdKing (2648) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2011
Keg in Craft Beer Co. Colour is amber. Nose is sweet, malty, bit of grain. Taste is sweet, bready then with a nice crisp hop finish.

inbirraveritas (1612) - Budapest, HUNGARY - OCT 14, 2011
Clear golden pour with a medium sized, loose structured white head, which diminishes with time completely. Sweet-hoppy smell. Slick, oily textured brew with a biscuit malty base escorted by fresh hay/grass and dough underpainted by alcohol. It finishes medium to long and dry with spices and alcohol. Balanced, good one.

DuffMan (10667) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 11, 2011
On tap @ the brauhaus in Munich. Clear medium gold, frothy white crown. Sweet bready malt, marzipan nuances, subtle hop note in the finish. Just okay really.

At Oktoberfest. Foamy white head enhanced by the one-liter dimpled mug. Nice malt/hop balance.

shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - OCT 8, 2011
Pale yellow, very light with small thin white head. Aroma is a bit bready, along with the expected wheat. Taste has almost a vanilla element, creamy maltiness and slight bitterness. Crisp and a bit gassy.

Martinus (4701) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - SEP 28, 2011
Clear golden colour, deminishing white head. Hoppy aroma, fresh malts. Flavour start sweetish, then it turns a bit more hoppy. Finish hoppy. Very fresh and drinkable.

On tap at Oktoberfest 2011; I was on a mission this year to try this beer as I had not at past Oktoberfest’s. Great, easy drinking yet a little mild on the body compared to others. I would say this was hands down my favorite at Oktoberfest (I still prefer Ayinger though ...)

Hacker-Pschorr, 5. Spaten, 6. Paulaner. Test vom 6.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,12,14,12,12,12 - 12,40
