Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 6, 2011
Test vom 2.10.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,9,12,8,10,10

500 ml botlle in England (I know don’t laugh but it sat all alone at The Rack’s shelf saying save me, save me from all of these ales) Pours a clear gold with litte head to speak of. Aroma was the normal Marzen of hops and somewhat sweet malt. Taste was a bit rough but a decent Marzen. Palate was mellow.

Cant beat the best beer in the biggest beer tasting in the world--Oktoberfest. Drank it at the Oktoberfest tent in 2009.

sinte (596) - Udine, ITALY - JAN 27, 2011
Bottle 0.5L. Dark goled body, with an average white head, fully diminishing with fair lacing; low density of medium-sized bubbles. Moderate-to heavy malty aroma (grains, maybe some toasted) with light hoppy notes (grass and citrus). Moderate sweet flavour with light bitterness. Medium body with an oily texture; medium carbonation; some metallic feeling in the finish. Not as good as expected.

Grima (2506) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - JAN 20, 2011
Into the glass pours a surprisingly bright and crystal clear beer. Looks really great, The smell is hoppy, fresh, very aromahoppy. The beginning part is very very sweet and very grainy, but the hops come through and turn good. The finish shows then again a trace of sweet and slightly grassy. Succeeded!

gunnar (9696) - Sandnes, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2010
Bottle from Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam. Pours very pale golden with a large white head. Aroma of grassy hops and pale malt. Taste is weak sweet malts, moderate grassy hops, overall an ordinary Oktoberfest.

JohnRMurdoch (5049) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - DEC 28, 2010
Bottle @ The Bon Accord. Grassy cereal hop aroma. Golden colour, fine head. Cereal corn flavour. Very average. Nice bottle.

@ Oktoberfest from the wooden barrel. Golden with a big thick head. Stupid Oktoberfest short pour :( Pale malt aroma with light typically Augustiner fruitiness. On the palate, more light fruitiness, yeast character and pale malt. Relatively sweet.

omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 31, 2010
Bottled, from The Drink Store, Dublin, Ireland Clear pale golden, rich head. Buttery malt aroma. Sweet with above medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Fairly deep buttery grainy malt, fairly low bitterness. Mild, fruity and solid. Very quaffable.

egajdzis (6730) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2010
[Draft @ Capones] Pale golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malts, light grass, grains, toffee malts, and some citrus. Taste of light citrus, toast, somewhat stale grains, grass, and a drier finish. Nicer than the sweet, caramelly o-fests we get here, but didn’t really blow me away.
