Drunk from 50cl bottle bought from Bierhuis in Ossett. Enjoyable special brew for the Oktoberfest. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

hrabren (1175) - Zagreb, CROATIA - FEB 9, 2016
Drank from a bottle in front of the bar. Drank it before also. Metallic malty aromas, sweet corn flakes taste. Medium body, soft carbonation, soft texture. Nice and drinkable. Boring.

Flasche - In großer Erwartung gekauft (im Norden bekommt man nicht so oft Münchner Oktoberfestbier), dann doch etwas enttäuscht. Nett und süffig halt, hoher CO2-Gehalt, unspektakulär.

More alcoholic and a bit less watery than Augustiner Lager, so better than that. Good beer!

heavy (2817) - Split, CROATIA - DEC 18, 2015
Jan ’15. A 0.5 l bottle at Kobaje bar, Split. It poured clear pale yellow body, didn’t really expect that. Its foam was small. Aroma was earthy/dusty with biscuit malt, and some pepper. Fine. Sweetish flavor. Grainy, honey, bread, biscuit, not bad, finely balanced, but somehow too ordinary, as a regular helles. Medium bodied with long finish. Lightly bready and biscuity at the end. Not really a typical semi-dark malty Oktoberfest beer we all got used to, but this is closer to the original version. I guess.
