Fad i Augustinerzelt på die Wiesn. Farven er gylden gul og skummet er fast og hvidt. Aromaen er malt og græs medens smagen er malt, korn og en let bitterhed. Det bedste oktoberfestøl. TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 25, 2015

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2015 Clear golden color with white head. Aroma has bready malts and some specific spiciness I get in Märzen beers. Taste is also bready and slightly sweet. A bit of hop bitterness in the finish. Body is a bit more dense than a regular lager but still in the light-medium zone. A bit of warming from the alcohol which I don’t like. Märzen is definitely one of my least favorite beer styles but this one is pretty decent. fajry (2193) - SLOVAK REPUBLIC - OCT 15, 2015
Výčap Zlý časy. Žltá farba, biela pena. Vôňa sladová, jemne zatuchlina. V chuti sladovsoť, pšenica, ostrá na jazyku. Pekná horká dochuť. JaKeAFC (1265) - ITALY - OCT 3, 2015
0.5L bottle. Pale yellow color, clear, short white head. Grany malts, corn and grass. Flat taste, light to medium body, average carbonation. Average lager. JoeinDahlem (1597) - Berlin, GERMANY - OCT 1, 2015
As much as I admire Augustiner Hell as a paragon of subtlety and balance, I don’t really know what to do with the Oktoberfest beer. I’ve worked my way through most of a case trying to figure it out. It the end I file it somewhere near the Belgian tripels: too sweet and strong to be of daily use to me. Pours bright gold, sturdy and fluffy head if poured aggressively enough. Smells like sweet grain, corn, honey. Taste is mostly sweet with only a soft bitterness. Lively from the bottle. Very light alcohol burn. Back to Hell for me. Bottled 0,50L. Clear golden color with intense bubbly aspect and optimal foamy head. Moderate alcoholic nose with good grains and malty aroma. Fresh and prickly bitterish mouth, good grains and dried grassy palate with refreshing and bitteRish final.
