* Old rating, 0,5l crown-top-bottle, best before 02.05. Mild-weiches, süffiges Festbier. Frisch und süßlich-malzig. bierkoning (13592) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - NOV 17, 2014
Bottle. Pale blonde. Soft floral aroma. Medium bodied. Bready, with soft floral hopbitter notes. Lots of malt. Soft grassy notes in the aftertaste. Well balanced. MartinT (10037) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 17, 2014
My Bottom Line:
Minty, herbal hops are accompanied by toasty malt subtleties in this super drinkable and well defined Festbier.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the very pale blond.
-Mouthfeel is lean and dry, much in the way of a Helles.
-This might not have tons of character, but it is still enjoyable and expertly made.
