Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Crystal clear golden colour. Thin white head. Aroma is an almost honey like, sweet maltiness. There’s a little initial grassiness, too. Taste is well balanced, with a light hoppiness complementing the sweet malt nicely. Off dry finish. Nice beer.

Mostly malts, kinda grainy. Sweetish. Low but decent hops, yeast. Was quite nice and decent

1000ml on tap at Fischer Vroni tent at Oktoberfest. Aroma is light grassy and unspectacular. Appearance is golden with nice white foam. Taste is sour and very light sweet and bitter. A medium carbonation, light dry finish. Overall the least interesting Wiesn beer so far.

Surprisingly more ish. Clear lager that generates a somewhat subtle but slightly gassy taste. But enjoyable and something one could easily spend an evening in its company. A nice session beer that might be potent as the evening develops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Purchased at a street vendor just outside of the Theresienwiese heading into Oktoberfest in Munich, DE. This was a great beer to drink on the street while watching the sh*t show unfold as hundreds of thousands of drunk people walk into each other while trying to get into one of the dozens of huge beer tents on the festival grounds. I didn’t pour it, enjoyed straight from the bottle. This went down with a light bitterness and a nice malt backing, and it was fresh. For the other merits, I can’t really say, but to me this was a pretty decent Oktoberfest brew.

From the oak barrel at Oktoberfest. Golden color, compact white head. Malt everywhere, easy to drink. Perfect!

0,5l bottle. Golden color. Malty aroma and taste. Some bitterness. Very refreshing and drinkable beer.

500 mL bottle from Beers of Europe. Golden lager with bubbles formed around the top of the glass. Mild malty aroma. Tastes malty, refreshing but a bit bland, too ’pure’. Super smooth though.

Had three different versions - from wooden barrels at Oktoberfest, from ked and from bottle. It’s obvious that best one is from wooden barrels - it’s like helles but more intense. Some years ago it had too much alcohol and was not easy to drink.

50cl bottle. Didn’t expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. Pours pale yellow, very light with small thin white head. Malty aroma. Moderate sweet flavour with light bitterness. Very refreshing and drinkable.
