Sampled at the RBESG08 grand tasting. clear pale golden with meidum white head. Grainy malt aroma with herbal hops. Long bitter finish. A genuine pils. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2008
(Bottle 50 cl) Clear pale golden with a tall and frothy white head. Lightly malty nose with floral accents. Medium body with a clean malt base and a fairly bitter finish. Very clean. Somebody at the gathering claimed that due to the use of hops this was actually a Bohemian Pilsener. 290608 yespr (45464) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2008
RBESG2008: 33 cL bottle. Pours pale yellow and clear with a creamy chalkwhite head. Medium sweet cornish aroma. Flavour is light fruity and with a mild bitterness. Ends light fruity and delicate hoppy. DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2008 Bottle, Augustiner Großgaststatte, Munich. Pale, pillowy and spritzy. Amazing fresh woodsy/Belgian-like aroma, gaseous and hoppy. Lemony grassy hop, pale biscuity/peanutty malt, medium bitterness restrained for a German pils. Fresh, woodsy, malty lager with an appetising tang of hop back-up. Looks like a Radler. Can’t pinpoint the Belgianess, but it’s in there. Pure, undiluted quality. MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2008
Bottle, 5.6%. Refreshing, citric hop aroma. Clear pale golden colour, very small white head. Very clean flavour. Hint of malt. Distinct bitterness, slightly grassy, finishing cleansingly astringent. Quite nice.

[massive amounts consumed throughout Munich] Very clear, yellow body. Head is dense, very long-lasting. Aroma of slight sulfur, mildly bitter. Flavors are light, pale malts, more sulfur/yeast character and a bit of residual sweetness. Finishes with a nice crisp bitterness. Ernest (7696) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 20, 2008

Pours a beautiful crystaline pale gold with a nice white head. Citric nose, some sourness, dry grassy fields. Lots of life in the flavor: a strong hops with some pine, thick sweet fruit (apple, pear, papaya?) in the flavorful malts, a good assertive hop finish with the bitterness accenting the lively carbonation and visa versa.
Absolutely fresh, absolutely delicious. Strong and forward in character, almost like some the targeted-to-West-coast-beer-geek American craft pilsner. A very nice beer!
Tap. Drank a fair amount of this stuff in a hostel in Munich. Not too impressionable. I remember more how the English Bartender would not stop talking about how it had never been "put into a tin".
