Golden, transparent, quite some carbonation going on. Dense and firm white head, nice lacing. Clean and crisp aroma: cereal, lemon, a herbal/grassy or even slightly resinous feel and a touch of spiciness. Taste follows the aroma, with a moderately sweet entrypoint and firm bitterness in finish and aftertaste (higher than average per style). Light body, average to high but still not too aggressive crispness, overall still easy and fresh. Well done zvsn (2084) - ISRAEL - JUL 31, 2016
Bottle at Gasthaus zur Schranne. Clear yellow golden with a nice creamy head. Aroma of malt and hay. Sweetish, grains, grass, herbal bitter finish, clean flavors. Medium-bodied, smooth. Decent. BeerandBlues2 (13210) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 15, 2016
Draught. Pours clear and sparkling gold with a medium, frothy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is moderate grainy Pils malt, medium earthy and spicy hops and a clean lager character. Flavor is clean, lightly sweet grainy Pils malt, medium fresh earthy and spicy hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Aroma: lovely meadow like feel, my kind of Noble hop set up. Classic set up. 7+
Appearance : 3+
Top: medium top, white in colour. Glass market with lace and rings.
Base: clear gold.
Palate : delicate Pils, mild soft body. A hoppier Helles like.
Taste: Mellower than expected. Beyond that, very clean work. Soft body softens meadow hops even further.
other notes hybrid of Helles and Pilsner.
Very pale water-yellow color with tiny foam ring. Hoppy pils nose with hints of swimming pool. The taste is very bitter and tart as one would expect from a strong pils. Actually quite a pleasant pils.

Aus der Flasche im Augustiner am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin. Zitrus-Hopfen Aroma, Geschmack: Stark Hopfig, bitter, sehr "Pilsig" Cristobal37 (1123) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 15, 2016
Really fresh and satisfying pils. Huge drying effect on the palate like a dry hopped desert. Tasty hoppy and straight forward beer. Malts are light and definitely play second fiddle to the hops. A great German pils. biir (1317) - Berlin, - JAN 6, 2016
Flasche. Vorweg: Ich bin ein großer Pils-Fan und hätte ohne ratebeer sicher noch einige Zeit gebraucht, bis ich irgendwann auch mal das Pils der Münchner Augustiner probiert hätte. Vielen Dank also schonmal dafür!
Strohgelbe Farbe, ordentliche Schaumkrone, Pils halt. Geschmacklich annähernd ideal: Frisch und spritzig, ausgewogen, ohne sich ins Süßliche, Florale oder Würzige zu verlieren, herber, trockener, klatschender Abgang. Sehr gut! WillemsUrenkel (1819) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - DEC 14, 2015
0,33 l bottle bought at Brause Syndikat, BI. Clear dark golden in the glass, small one finger off white head. Grassy nose, little bit malt. Taste is well balanced, some bitterness, grain, malt. Easy to drink, but not in a watery way. Long lasting mid bitterness in the aftertaste with low sweetness in the background. Nice! bigbish (712) - California, USA - NOV 28, 2015
Didn’t take tasting notes. Just wrote down the score so I’m typing just enough words.
