Clear bright yellow with medium white head. Aroma is hoppy grassy stuff, some wheat, yet some cobweb and basement aroma. Taste is sour lemon juice, hop bitterness. Very low carbonation with full body and medium finish of bitter hops. Nice.

[massive amounts consumed throughout Munich] Very clear, yellow body. Head is dense, very long-lasting. Aroma of slight sulfur, mildly bitter. Flavors are light, pale malts, more sulfur/yeast character and a bit of residual sweetness. Finishes with a nice crisp bitterness.

Didn’t take tasting notes. Just wrote down the score so I’m typing just enough words.

It is somewhat of a sin to drink a Pils from a Munich brewery, it seems the popularity of Pils in general has brought about them also offering this. It is not half bad though. A good Pils that has a herbal taste very typical of the style. Not a premium pils but surely drinkable.

Pours a nice golden color. Somewhat grassy and hoppy with a nice malt taste to it. A great refresher although the Bayern locals told me the Augustiner Edelstoff is seen as a better version of this one. Good beer.

Consumed at some hostel nearby the Augustiner gardens in München. The pour is, well, what you would expect from a well-made, highly refined pilsener bier. A quickly fading head and a brilliant straw coloured body, akin to a budwieser, honestly, but in a beer tasting this fresh, this appearance is more than acceptable. It´s prefered. The nose is a little muted, but poured in its appropriate glass what wouldn´t be?! When are people going to wise up and just pour everything in snifters or tulips or bordeau glasses? Anywho, the characteristic awesomeness actually comes from a very low concentration of what seems to be DMS. It´s like thier house character. Aside from that, is grainy, with slightly zesty noble hop character. Appropriately prickly carbonation is matched with a thin, dry, slightly slick mouthfeel. Basically, the only reason I´m rating this is to pass time until they bleed thier glorious Helles out of a wood barrel. Righteous!

Typical German beer. Good but not exciting. Nice on a hot day- but that´s all. Can´t separate between the major brands from Germany.

Clear yellow with a white head. Spicy hop aroma. Light honey malt with some spicy hops and a dryish finish.
