Bottled: Yellow coloured. White small head. Very hoppy and flowery aroma. Great. Flavour is floral and hoppy with a malty touch. Very sharp bitterness in the end. Crisp and refreshing pilsener. I really like it. deyholla (11721) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - NOV 26, 2009
Bottle. Poured a clear gold with a thin and quickly dissipating white head. Aroma had weak notes of malt and oddly steamed veggies. Flavor was basic with sweet malts and a bit of crisp hops. rosenbergh (11600) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 3, 2012
Draught at the Augustiner an der Frauenkirche, Dresden, Germany.shrubber85 (11448) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - SEP 24, 2010
Pale golden colour with small white head.
Nice hoppy aroma combined with maltiness.
Flavour is also nice balanced combination of hops and malt. Hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness.
Very nice but slightly thin.
Tap at Augustiner beer gardens. Creamy barley malt and light grass hops aroma. Clear golden yellow color with moderate head. Slightly sweet creamy malt and moderate grass hops flavor. Nice body. Excellent - everything I expect and like in a CGP. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAR 25, 2010

Clear straw pale color, white head. Sweet scent. Sweet bitter taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2010 Live at the Augustiner-Bräustuben in Munich, served in a bottle: pale golden coloured, fluffy, nicely lacing white head; shy traces of grassy hoppiness in the nose, some dough; light bitter-sweet flavour and a light grassy and malty finish; easily drinkable, a bit too light-bodied for a beer of 5,6% ABV !
Re-Rate (bottle sponsored by Joss!) Pale golden, quite stable mid-sized white head; distinctive floral-hoppy aroma, covering some grainy sweetness; distinctive, but mild bitter-sweet flavour; aromatic hoppiness in the short, sweet finish. A fine and pleasant, really Bohemian Pils !
Draught at "Augustiner an der Frauenkirche", Dresden, 06/10: 3D "bohemian" hop profile, very smooth, solid sweet-bitter flavour, not too dry. Very moreish and very, very good!!!! cubs (10639) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Bottle @ Augustiner Bierhalle Munich (the one half way between Karlsplatz and Mariensplatz). Clear yellow appearance with an off white head. Lemon, straw, grassy, floral aroma. Grainy, pils malty, dry grassy flavor. Not real issues but a little boring. Fin (10609) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2013
Had this at Augustiner am Gendarmenmarkt, Mitte, Berlin, Germany Friday 15th November 2013 Absolutely stunningly crystal golden with a perfect white head, if was giving mark out 10 for looks this would get 11. This nose is subtle as is the taste. It is clean tasting with little barbs of bitterness but really refreshing, I really glugged at this, this is a moreish beer. Quite delicate at times, the hops show as does the malt but it is so well done, beer of the day. A8 A5 T8 P4 Ov16 4.1 KimJohansen (10509) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2008
Clear golden with medium white head. Sweet fruity with mild floral hops and carolus notes.
