330 ml bottle. BBE 03/2012.TaktikMTL (7805) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 11, 2011
Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts, light grains and some citrus. Flavour of grainy malts, strong grassy hops, citrus, herbs, bubblegum and honey. Medium bodied, quite high carbonation and a surprisingly bitter, dry and grassy finish. After a while some sweet honey notes and herbs in the finish as well. Really a tasty pils.

rbesg08 grand tasting, bottled. i was quite surprised that i had not rated this before but perhaps it was not available at the augustiner place in munich when i was there. anyways, typically bavarian pils - pale yellow, clean grassy aroma, quick in the mouth though not particularly bitter

A fantastic pilsnener from Munich:
The looks are pretty ordinary, golden/yellow with a bit weak head,
but as soon as you stick your nose into the glas you will be overwhelmed by a motherload of flowery aromahops. The hops are there in the taste too, nicely balanced with a medium body.
I have to get more of theese! Idiosynkrasie (7600) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUL 6, 2015
330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Minimally grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma, mild, grassy and minimally floral hoppy overtones. Taste is bitter hoppy, floral, slightly grassy, pale malty background with very subtle sweetness. Crisp and clean - good. larsga (7564) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2008
Huge very white lasting head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Malty grassy aroma with floral notes. Dry-sweetish fruity golden grassy taste with malty straw notes. Clean, fresh palate. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Dry mealy grassy aftertaste. Very nice. Not very complex, but highly drinkable. (0.3l draft, Augustiner an der Frauenkirche, Dresden.) Finn (7547) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 7, 2007

Brown 33cl bottle, best before May 2009, drank Jan 2009.
Poured into a Veltins Pilsner tulip (twice).
One of the clearest pilsners I’ve ever seen, very, very pale yellow, not even enough colour to call it golden. The fine looking white head that sat on top after each pour soon faded to lacing and wisps, shame.
Odourless, and I mean odourless. Even as the beer warms, no aromas could be found, gets my standard pilsner/lager score of 3.
Typical Bavarian pilsner feel and taste, clean, crisp and refreshing. Pilsners are not supposed to have strong flavours that knock you about and this one is no different. It does however keep it’s charactor throughout the drink, I mean it doesn’t go all metalic, or tinny and the last sip is as good as the first with no nasty aftertaste.
One of the better Pilsners I’ve had.
