(bottle) pours a clear pale yellow colour with a stable rocky white head. aroma of floral hops with a hint of citrus, pale malts and straw. flavour is the same, initially a little sweet, with a long-lasting floral bitter finish. medium-bodied with lively carbonation. a well-crafted pilsner.

Bottle. Light golden, small and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish aroma, light grassy hoppyness. Light to medium, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish flavor, light grassy hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty - grainy and dryish, some grassy hoppyness, faint alcohol. Lightly sweetish pils, nice dryish hoppyness in the finish.

BlackHaddock (7233) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2012
Brown 33cl bottle, best before May 2009, drank Jan 2009. Poured into a Veltins Pilsner tulip (twice). One of the clearest pilsners I’ve ever seen, very, very pale yellow, not even enough colour to call it golden. The fine looking white head that sat on top after each pour soon faded to lacing and wisps, shame. Odourless, and I mean odourless. Even as the beer warms, no aromas could be found, gets my standard pilsner/lager score of 3. Typical Bavarian pilsner feel and taste, clean, crisp and refreshing. Pilsners are not supposed to have strong flavours that knock you about and this one is no different. It does however keep it’s charactor throughout the drink, I mean it doesn’t go all metalic, or tinny and the last sip is as good as the first with no nasty aftertaste. One of the better Pilsners I’ve had.

Bevuta alla spina, forse era un pò troppo fredda, e un pò troppo gasata, ma nel complesso mi è sembrata una buona pils.

Blonde colour. Lots of fizz. Minty, slightly spicy aroma. Light body. Flavour shows spicy hop notes and moderate bitterness. Quick rather than dry finish. More northern than Bavarian in style.

Greatest pils i tasted in a long time. Yellow colour with a medium mostly lasting head. Not much aroma but a powerful hoppy taste and finish.

Tap. Drank a fair amount of this stuff in a hostel in Munich. Not too impressionable. I remember more how the English Bartender would not stop talking about how it had never been "put into a tin".
