Bottled: Yellow coloured. White small head. Very hoppy and flowery aroma. Great. Flavour is floral and hoppy with a malty touch. Very sharp bitterness in the end. Crisp and refreshing pilsener. I really like it.

OldMrCrow (2443) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2007
Bottle purchased in Berlin.

Pours a beautiful crystaline pale gold with a nice white head. Citric nose, some sourness, dry grassy fields. Lots of life in the flavor: a strong hops with some pine, thick sweet fruit (apple, pear, papaya?) in the flavorful malts, a good assertive hop finish with the bitterness accenting the lively carbonation and visa versa.

Absolutely fresh, absolutely delicious. Strong and forward in character, almost like some the targeted-to-West-coast-beer-geek American craft pilsner. A very nice beer!

Just the way I like it - dry, dominating hops, crystal clear, nice white head, great beer!

AndyHix (17) - Bavaria, GERMANY - JUL 24, 2014
On tap at Gasthaus zur Post, Unterhaching. Very nice Pils. Probably one of the better I’ve tried in bavaria. Nice bitterness, nice aroma. But I prefer the Augustiner Edelstoff over this still.

Leighton (21477) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2014
Bottle at Augustiner Bierhalle and Restaurant - Munich. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Crisp, biscuity malts in the nose, modest cereal. Light sweet flavor with some hay bitterness, faint grass, lemon rind, cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with more cereal, mild grassy and floral bitterness. Solid.

KyotoLefty (10311) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 24, 2015
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2015 Tap at the Schranke in Nuremberg. Brilliant gold, clear, tall fine head. Clean, herbal nose, crackers and lemon. Lemony flavor, light biscuits, herbs, grass. Very fresh and clean, but with a solid south German malt background. Not the most flavorful pils I have had lately, but damn good.
