Lore (2743) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 26, 2013
pale golden colour, dense long lasting white head;aroma and taste of a typical german pilsener - well ballanced maltyness and hops with maybe some malty dominance

Light sweet flavor with some hay bitterness, faint grass, lemon rind, cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with more cereal, mild grassy and floral bitterness. Solid.

KyotoLefty (10262) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 24, 2015
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2015 Tap at the Schranke in Nuremberg. Brilliant gold, clear, tall fine head. Clean, herbal nose, crackers and lemon. Lemony flavor, light biscuits, herbs, grass. Very fresh and clean, but with a solid south German malt background. Not the most flavorful pils I have had lately, but damn good.

rand (1700) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 5, 2017
Bottle 33 cl / Drinks of the world - Bern (CH). Blonde with green reflections, short white head and low crackling. Malted and hopped aromas, flowers in the fields. The taste is at first with malted softness, with lemon. The a bitterness of refined hops, crispy but not too dry with a remarkable balance.

8/12/12/11/12/12

armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 24, 2011
0,33 l bottle, Csakajósör
Clear pale straw yellow colored beer with a medium froathy head that melts down slowly to a small lacing one on the surface. Opens with a mild malt, after a second the lively carbonation brings the herbal-grassy hops. Medium bodied beer with a light grainy character at the first slip, after a while the hop arrives with its own dry character and with a clean herbal taste. Bittersweet, also dry finish. Correct pilsner, good!

ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 18, 2011

Bottle, Augustiner Brau-stuben, Munich. Nice sparkling colour, herbs in the aroma, bitter taste and hoppy dryness in the end. A classic german pilsener. I don’t understand why all the pilseners are only avaible in bottle in Bavaria, why can’t I get a draugt one anywhere?
