0.5 l draught @ Tegel Airport, Berlin (13 April, 2017). Appearance is orange, cloudy and nice head. Aroma has ripe banana. Taste is sweet banana. Colour is a bit darker than the competitors’ products. There is less banana than in Weihenstephaner’s Hefeweizen, but this is still great beer in its style.

50cl bottle purchased @ Tante Emma Laden. Robe ambrée légèrement trouble avec une belle mousse persistante. Forte carbo qui bloque un peu les arômes de banane. On reste sur le clou de girofle.

0,5 l Flasche. Aroma: Hefig, fruchtig. Erscheinung: oranges, trübes Bier, cremeweißer, feinporiger Schaum, der schnell abbaut, kaum Gardine. Geschmack: süß, leicht säuerlich, hefig. Nachgeschmack: Süße dominiert, relativ viel Kohlensäure. Gesamt: Gut trinkbar, nicht außergewöhnlich.

Foerdifuxx (331) - Franconia, GERMANY - FEB 1, 2017
Hazy amber coloured beer with a medium to small, short lasting head. Aromas of clove, yeast, malt, some fruits, citrus. Taste is overall quite malty, in the beginning fruity, apples, then bready, light sweet, with light butter in finish. Soft carbonation, medium body, slick texture. Okay but nothing special.

ozzatoadisback (145) - ITALY - JAN 30, 2017
Dense amber/orange, not too hazy for the style. Head is not big as most weizens but still quite solid. Aroma is quite on the phenolic side with pepper and clove, plus banana and some citric notes. Taste is not too heavy/yeasty, with a delicate white bread/cereal base, plus refreshing citric notes and slight banana, and a quite assertive spiciness (pepper, clove). Obviously sweet, but averagely so for the style. Nicely refreshing. Light to medium body with carbonation perhaps a little weaker than per style average (though as mentioned it didn’t show much head so this may not be the usual standard), overall a quick and easy mouthfeel. As mentioned, nicely refreshing. Overall, a pretty nice well made hefe.

Another great German wheat beer. Not too fruity and pours a darker hazy orange-red, so looks very good. Wonderful head retention. Munich market.

From 50cc bottle. Pours hazy, golden with a medium-high head. Aroma is banana and a little spiced. Body is light, with not so much carbonation. Taste is sweet, but it ends with some slight spiciness.

This brewery is a classical in Munich, not possible to avoid it and really popular. I could observe that the people on the street in Munich drink the lagerhell and the edelstoff. I bought this bottle in a shop, place de l’aligre, in Paris. I drank it at home, relax, before to sleep. It is an average hefeweizen but I prefer the hefeweizen from ayinger. At the nose, you can breathe a nice perfume of banana, fruits and wheat. The color is a nice orange/yellow and troubled. It seems that the carbonation is a little higher than usual for the style. The taste is a bit tough and watery, we smell the alcohol, even though it is a refreshing beer with wheat, I was expecting more banana notes, a bit metalic, average.

0,5l can. A hazy orange weizen with a rich white head. Soft fruity aroma with notes of caramel, citrus, mandarin, and wheat. Slightly sweet flavour.
