3.3
dortmunder (961) - Herdecke, GERMANY - APR 29, 2004
Orange colour. Quickly diminishing head. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Citric, yeasty taste, not so much banana or cloves. Slightly sweet. Hoppy finish. A rather unusual weizen. Not exactly my cup of tea.

pivo (2689) - GERMANY - FEB 23, 2004
Nice spicy nose typical of a German hefe. Brownish-orange color and foamy head. Doesn't look like a hefe - not so cloudy. Sharp and spicy flavors in the middle with vanilla tones. Ends with a touch of hops! Full body and creamy mouthfeel. Reminded me of vanilla cookies.

YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 16, 2004
Orange color, fizzy carbonation, medium foamy head. Apple, acidic, banana nose. Weak vanilla taste. thin, almost kind of watery. Not extraordinary.

3.2
duff (5486) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 4, 2003
Clove and banana, tart, with a dry-ish finish, also got a bit of vanilla or something, pretty nice, easy to drink, nothing over the top.

2.2
omhper (26030) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2003
Bottled. Cloudy deep orange. Appley nose, clean fizzy mouthfeel, yeasty finish. Too clean, just like Erdinger, but thankfully not that sweet.

caesar (7455) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2003
Quite obvious score with a low StdDev, which i am going to improve. Because that is what it is worth, a 3.1. Very cloudy golden orange color, short head. Very one-way spicy wheat aroma. Quite standard german wheat taste, but not refreshing and not complex. Nothing special.

3.2
skortila (6025) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2003
Full, strong spicy aroma. Cloudy yellow coloured. Head remains (not in my glass though). Spicy taste, refreshing. Some citrus. Good brew.

Kaya161 (1142) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 6, 2003
Deep cloudy orange with a frothy white head. Carbonation is high. Medium palate. High on the phenolic flavours.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 17, 2003
salty and grainy, fresh yet composty. nice but unexciting...................

3.3
ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - JAN 12, 2003
Smelled like dogfood. Think I'm nuts? Before I let my feelings know, my buddy said it smelled like wet dog fur. Sparkling carbonated body. Large white head, mostly lasting. Excellent lace. Very good tasting wheat beer; definitely beats out Paulaner's offering.
