500ml bottle: poured orange yellow with a decent sized fluffy white head. Moderate yeast aroma with some banana. Maybe overripe bananas. Flavor is less yeasty and bananaish. Slightly bitter in the finish with a mild lingering yeast/banana flavor. Decent hefe. StewardofGondor (1934) - Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 26, 2006
On tap at the Augustiner Bierhall. Hazy, bold and glowing orange in color with a booming, nearly two inch, foamy white head. Cleansing lemons and orange are shining stars in the nose, complimented by fruity bananas and cantaloupe. Throw in some cloves and vanilla underneath it all and we’re in paradise. Flavor keeps that momentum going. A slight accent of tin comes in, but it’s trumped by a citric orange crème libation. Carbonation harmoniously joins with banana nougats and clove delicacy. Quaffs are extensively delicious, as a sugary vanilla cream danish engulfs the palate. Flavor never dips for a second. Cool, confident and dead-on effervescence. Spicing and sweetening wrote the book on how to hefe. Lemon meringue and orange toffee segway to a banana cream pie’s graham cracker crust and vanilla buttercream, leading to a finish that summarizes all of the above. So f’in good. Hazy gold with a thin head. Aroma of orange, wheat and yeast. Flavor is somewhat the same, though very light. A bit thin. Just okay. Abio (1869) - BERMUDA - DEC 23, 2011
Orange coloured beer with a nice big head on top. Yeast, fruits and wheat at both the smell and taste, in a pretty decent moderated way combined. A bit less of carbonation at the taste. A decent mostly sweet aftertaste with some nice wheat and yeast finding the way up. Nothing really special, but a decent beer. gopherfan99 (1829) - Minnesota, USA - FEB 7, 2015
Tap; pours cloudy amber with an off white head; aroma of wheat and spices with hints of banana and yeast; taste is a little bit sweet with malt, banana, and some spices; finishes with light spice; not much bitterness with this beer; pretty good Hefe.

Hazy orange/amber colored, decent white head. Aroma is bready and spicey, cloves. Taste is quite bready and biscuity, wheat, some acidity, cloves and spices, citrus, bready yeasty finish. Light to medium bodied. TaxiDriver (1775) - Stadland, GERMANY - JUN 7, 2009
Bottle. A light fruity smell, some banana. The head is medium large, white and foamy, rather fast disappearing. The body is light orange. The taste is light fruity, a little bit sour in the beginning. The body is creamy and gets drier later on, it is light with a lively carbonation. A normal but rather boring beer. Buona! Not really much a difference between the whole lot of hefeweizens. this wasn’t bad at all. jfm (1724) - Holbæk, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2004
Hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma of banana. The taste is fruity and watery with yeasty notes. Has a light sharp metallic finish.
