Another good one from Texas. Some sweetness and a hint of alcohol, but an easy one to drink - I had two.
Reddish amber nitro pour at the source. Grass and pine aroma. Slightly sweet up front but quickly turns bitter. I dig it. BeerRenter76 (1029) - Texas, USA - DEC 29, 2015
On tap at Red’s Back Porch in Austin. Deep orange/ amberish colored body, chewy cap that left some nice, thick lace. Aroma and flavor of grapefruit and sweet caramel. Fairly decent for the style. lownote (585) - Austin, Alabama, USA - OCT 29, 2015
Big spicy and hoppy. Aroma is tough in the bar with smoking. Nice body, good head and appearance. Tasty boozy brew tba53 (9) - - NOV 10, 2014 does not count

Clear amber pour, thin white head. Nose is medium roasted grain, hop scent nibbling. Bitter. Middle is caramelized biscuit malt. Finish is sharp, spicy, woody hops. Pretty Damn Good.

Just had a sample of this. Poured red and smelled and tasted hoppy and malty with a nice balance and typical house flavors. Pretty taste stuff with no booze showing up. Wouldn’t mind trying this again. djd07 (15342) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 26, 2012
On tap at Workhorse. Pours a clear amber with small frothy white head leaving spotty lscing. The aroma is a fruity malt and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet fruity malt and honey with light hopiness. A good American strong ale from ABW. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 13, 2012
Tap. Pours with clear bronze body with a small tan head. Decent lace. Aromas are fruity, tons of caramel, raisins, medium esters. Pine and grassy hop notes. Flavors are fruity, very estery, dark fruit (special B?), caramel, crystal malt laden. Bitter without a huge hop flavor. Lively carbonation, but a bit sticky. Aroma has a fruity hoppy thing going. Pours a clear orange amber with a none lasting off white head and minimal lacing. The taste has a slightly sweet quality with citrus hops being the predominate flavor. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Overall, an interesting take on a red. A little happier than I normally like.
