chocolate, coffee, roasty, almost black, nice head, lightly bitter, light body, moderately thin feel, average carbonation, clean finish. This beer is a beautiful marriage between a crisp lager and a malty, roasty porter. Love it! WanderinCelt87 (197) - Hamburg, New Jersey, USA - APR 5, 2015
Pour from a can, is a nice opaque amber with a thin white head. Aroma is soft and smoky. Taste is a slight bitter malt taste with hints of smoke. Leaves a clean after taste.

On tap at the Draught House.
The beer pours a dark brown to black color with an off-white head. The aroma is very nice. I get a lot of chocolate and roasted malt notes, with a little bit of dark fruit. It smells quite a bit like a nice, roasted porter.
The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of dark roasted malt with some bitterness from the malt and chocolate notes. There is also a little bit of nuttyness in the flavor. There is a ton of flavor packed into this lower alcohol beer.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
Hopefully this beer is canned because I could drink this all day long. lb4lb (2587) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 30, 2013
Smell is light coffee and roast malt. Taste is cold coffee like. Thin to medium body with crisp carbonation and nice coffee flavor. Great for a lighter easy to drink roasty beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 15, 2017
