Hazy light washed out yellow pour. A very thin, but sustaining head. Nose is wheat and unripe canteloupe. Middle is lightly sour, lemony, bready. Finish just doubles down on the sour. Refreshing. sjohnny (653) - - MAY 26, 2017
Funk. Tart. Clear pale yellow. Quickly fading bright white head. Light. Tart. Bright. Crisp.

On tap at Freeman BBQ. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head. Aromas of light fruitiness, light lemon juice. The taste is very mild, as it should be. Light on the sourness just a touch in the finish. It could bump up the sourness just a tad but I liked it right there. I would like some more grainy taste at the finish. Still solid showing. Tap at the brewery. Pours clear light gold, fast dissipating head. Aroma is tart, wheat, grain, faint citrus. Taste is nice light pils base, with a bit of tartness, grass and grain. Light refreshing body. Good.

GABF 2013. Pours a touch hazy light yellow appearance with a white head. A bit tangy, light barnyard, lemony aroma. Slightly watery but overall pretty tasty flavor with some lactic, vanilla, lemon, and a touch herbal notes. A touch watery but kind of chill. fly (1486) - austin, Tejas, Texas, USA - SEP 3, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2016 I have yet to taste a Berliner weiss that is quite up to the first one I had (that was an actual one from Berlin), but dang if this does not come closest. Think it has been developing and actually improving, but alas believe last time I was at the brewery it had just run out. Good job, buckos!
Damn this is an excellent choice for a day that was way too fucking hot. SO much flavor packed into what is now listed as 3.0%
Gotta see if I can get a growler fill of this somewhere in town...
