COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This monster of an IPA is loaded with Simcoe, Citra, and Ahtanum hops, giving it huge citrus and pine aromas that pack as much punch as Sam Elliott’s mustache. The beer is light amber in color, and features a strong caramel and Vienna malt backbone to complement those intense hops.

Hazy orange pour with a white head. Grapefruit and lots of pineapple aroma. Some orange, bread, caramel, mango, and pine. A hint of apricot, too. Not much bitterness to the flavor. Some pine, grapefruit, and a lot of fruit. Pineapple, orange, and sweet caramel malt. Light mango and apricot.

16 oz can poured a clear gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of bread, candied orange, light grapefruit and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, grapefruit, light orange zest and a hint of pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

Can thanks to Will. Pours a cloudy orange with small creamy white head leaving spotty lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and citrus. Thick mouthfeel with strong pine, resin, dank and light pineapple. Easy to drink hiding alcohol well. Very impressive IIPA.

Big can from Ratman’s house. Pours hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is tangerine and tropical fruit hops, biscuit malt, pear and bubble gum esters. Flavor is heavy tangerine hops and bitterness, tropical fruit hops notes, crisp biscuit malt, pear esters and a dry finish. Full body and moderate carbonation.

TaP -- medium ruby amber .. medium foam .. . solid malts, maple, and a deep one for sure .. . a solid beer but nothing i’d like again .. . . quite squirming, you don’t like eyeballs in the microwave?

Re-Release? thanks to angrypirate06. Pours with a hazed golden orange hued body and a large white head. Great lace and retention Hoppy aroma with marmalade, citrus, pine, and lightly tropical. Medium crystal, mild esters. Alcohol evident. Flavors are citrusy, mild toasted malt, a bit sticky, floral, tropical, pretty dry. A bit malt heavy for my tastes, but not bad at all. Medium body fuller carb.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a hazy golden color with a one finger white foamy head that leaves some light clingy lacing. There is some light carbonation softly moving up. The smell was sweetened pine with a nice allocated caramel lightly touching the nose together. The taste was sweet and bitter bursting through fairly harsh on the taste buds. There is a good bittersweet pine aftertaste leading into a dry finish. On the palate, it sits about a light to medium on the body. This one’s got the right amount of carbonation for a DIPA to have an ample amount of bitterness to lead to a great harshness on the tongue and mouth, ABV - what ABV, I barely notice it, what great drinkability. Overall, this is a very well done DIPA well worthy of having again and I would love to have this again especially next time right outa the can as it would make a great beer to sip on while fishing on the pier.

Cybercat (5838) - Georgia, USA - JUN 18, 2015
Pours clear honey golden with a nice pale buff head. Aroma is strongly evergreen, like getting a good whiff of some fresh pine needles. Flavor is tres hoppy, evergreen and just a tad bitter, with citrus and malt hints. Firm body has good fizz and leaves an evergreen hop finish. Available only in Austin - or wherever a nice Austinite is sharing brewskis,

Poured an orangish amber color with aromas of dank hops, light caramel, big pine and resin notes as well. Flavors were light malt then punched in the mouth with hops. Big pine and resin flavors with some light citrus and tropical fruit notes. A solid beer where the abv is hidden well.
