COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heres a secret: This is really an American Pale Ale. But we call it Half IPA because we do what we want. Light hop additions during the boil and tons of dry hopping with Centennial and Citra mean the bitterness is low, but the hop flavor and aroma are high. Made specifically for summertime in Austin, its great for sitting poolside or dockside.

Can shared at Kernel by generous Leighton, provided by generous Fly! It pours a fully clean golden color with large white head. Aroma is sweet danky juicy tropical fruit hops, some metal and grains. Taste is medium sweet and lightly bitter with more danky fruity tropical hops, metal, grass and flowers. Medium bodied with good to soft carbonation. Overall, very tasty.

Can thanks to Fly, via Leighton. It pours clear pale gold with a thick white head. The nose is fresh, juicy, bready malts, floral, sweet grain, herbal and mild grass. The taste is crisp, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, cereal, citrus zest, grassy, pepper, straw, white grape and bread with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well rounded and pretty drinkable. Not bad.

Can shared at the Kernel. Big thanks to fly for providing! The nose holds a bit of piney and rindy hops, dry ple malts. Light sweet flavor with bitter pine needles, crusty pale bread, straw, lemon rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more piney hops, rindy bitterness, more dry bread. Not bad overall. Drinkable stuff.

Tap at the brewery. Amber pour, clear. Aroma is piney, light grass, slightly floral. Taste is lightly bitter, light pine, grass. Definitely "half" the flavor of their other IPAs. Dont really dig it.
