Aroma is bready with a hint of grainy spiciness. No diacetyls. No fruity esters. appearance is lights straw gold with a creamy white head. Not a fine head but a bit more robust larger popcorn pocks.
Medium to medium high crispness, clean with a bit of a spice after taste. ramboraffe (2257) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 6, 2014
355 ml can. Clear golden with white head. Smell is lager yeast, bread and citrus. Taste is bread and hay hops. Fizzy dry with low bitterness and medium carbonation. Jur (468) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 14, 2014
Can @ W Austin, TX.
Clear gold, proper carbonation. Rounded, mild malt and modest bitter, like a proper Bohemian pilsner. Fresh and tasty, nothing like confection US lagers. gregwilsonstl (2613) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 8, 2014
Very clear golden. Reminiscent of a bud light but good, if that makes sense. Flight at Bangers. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JUL 28, 2014
Can, thanks GT2, gold pour, small white head, nose is grassy, taste is grassy, decent pils overall

12oz can. Aroma is light malt with a little hops. Appearance is golden. Taste is a some malt with some hops as well. Could be refreshing during an Austin summer. Palate us a little hoppy, but ok. Overall, could see this as a perfect river beer, except for the price and the scarcity. Go Austin beer works!

Holy shit. Can smell the hops as soon as I crack the can! A strong, pungent grassy, pissy, catty hop aroma. Drank from the can. Super quenching and perfectly balanced between bitter, hop flavor and just a touch of malt that keeps it from being obnoxious. Is this really made in the same state as the asstros and Lone Star. Great pilsner! vlan1 (219) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAY 30, 2014
Pours a clear gold with no noticable head. Aroma of grass. Taste is light crisp flowers and grassy hops. Thin and crisp mouthfeel. Excellent hot texas day beer. drsandman (1588) - New York, USA - MAY 1, 2014
Pours a pale yellow with med white head. Aroma is grass hop, must, bready yeast. Light mouthfeel, acidic, slight sweetness, biscuit, metallic hint. Very drinkable / refreshing. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 28, 2014
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2014 > A super dank dry hopped blonde beer that may not even be the Pearl Snap Pils despite the can’s label
[ Can ][ t0rin0 ][ 12oz ][ Tasting ][ Stemless Wine Taster ][ 4/26/14 ]
>> Pours a clear straw with soapy foam, soapy lace. High carbonation. Nose is super dank NZ style melon hops, definitely nontraditional for a German pils. Taste is plastic, concrete, harshly bitter. Toothpaste, concrete finish. Whatever was inside this can, I don’t think it was their German pilsner...
>!< concrete, plastic, perhaps they mixed up their beer
[ Keg ][ 16oz ][ Salty Sow Austin TX ][ $5 ][ Flute ][ 9.2.14 ]
>> Now this is actually Pearl Snap and not some experimental prototype batch. Brilliant gold pour with low foam. Nose is grainy, fresh, snappy pilsner malt. Taste is juicy and pilsner malty, great snappy pils with juicy malt body and grassy Noble hops. Great sourdough palate with mild lactic acid. Very good, would be in my fridge at all times if I lived in Austin.
