Keg at the Ginger Man - Austin, TX. Pours clear yellow, lightly effervescent, with a mild, creamy white head. Crispy cereal in the nose, light grass, pale grains. Light to medium sweet flavour with further grainy pale malts, cereal, straw, biscuits, mellow grassy bitterness. Light in body with average carbonation. Crisp and clean to finish, with further grassy and husky bitterness, biscuity malts, straw. Good pils.

A: The beer pours a clear golden color with a big white head. S: There is a little bit of a lemony note, slightly soapy, with a rather light malt note. Some floral hop notes along with a pale malt sweetness and grassy hop notes. T: A mild sweetness of pale malts. There’s a floral and grassy hop note to it. Some fruity esters and yeast flavors with a very mild/soft bitterness. M: The body is on the lighter side of medium with medium to high carbonation. O: A pretty nice, easy to drink pils. Good flavor and aroma.

Can sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Ariel. Clear golden. Decent aroma of grassy and citric hops and a bit of bready malt. Flavor has a bit of bready malt, slightly sweetish and nice grassy and citric hops bitterness. Rather light-bodied. Pleasant and refreshing.

12oz can. Medium off-white head atop crystal clear pale straw body. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, bread, some spicy, light orange/lemon. Taste is medium sweet, grass/spicy, some lemon, bread. Clean light body, light acidity. The description is accurate - there’s almost no aftertaste despite the noticeable bitterness. That may appeal to some, but I’m not looking to forget what I’m drinking as I’m drinking it.

bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAR 11, 2012
