Tap at brewery. Pours black, little head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, roast malts. Taste is coffee, mild fruitiness, raisins, faint chocolate and toast. Nice beer. Smooth mouthfeel, heavier body but still decent on a hot day. Really enjoyable. Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - MAR 7, 2015
Aroma primarily roasted coffee. Thick black pour with tan ring and no lacing. The taste is slightly and primarily coffee flavored. Full body and medium carbonation. Overall, aggressive coffee flavor up front which mellows on the back end while the high alcohol content is well hidden. lownote (585) - Austin, Alabama, USA - JAN 30, 2015
