UPDATED: SEP 1, 2017 small moka coloured head, black body, malts coffee hay smell, medium co2 low bitter some sour malts a bit to fresh for a stout nathanvc (712) - Brugge, BELGIUM - MAY 6, 2017
Bottle shared at De Heeren van Liedekercke. Pours cloudy black with a big, frothy, beige head that lasts. The aroma contains roasted malt, coffee, sugar, bread, yeast and ripe fruits. It tastes medium bitter and very light sweet. Thin texture, fizzy carbonation (too much for this style), hides its ABV well, short finish. Tasty dessert beer but falling short for its style. Aroma is zurig fris, weinig geroosterde tonen.
33cl bottle shared with Kermis.

Bottle shared. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, licorice, overripe dark fruit, herbs, dark chocolate, toffee, light cola and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Hopverdju (1495) - BELGIUM - MAR 20, 2016
Zwart bier met dikke beige schuimkraag. Geur: koffie, geroosterde mout, donker fruit, cassis. Smaak: lichte bitterheid, geroosterde mout, wat aards. Weinig volmondig, medium koolzuur. Nicolas_M (203) - BELGIUM - SEP 11, 2015
I was disappointed from the other beer from authentique brewery, this one is the exception. Sadly, I’ve tried (much) better stout, but it is a good one. Aroma and taste of roasted malt are there, but the beer "is too liquid" for a stout (usually they’re somehow creamy, which leaves a great feeling in the mouth).
So it’s half way to the top, an enjoyable stout, but not the one you have to add on your beer bucket list.
