Bottle: Poured a light red color ale with a medium size pink color head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of light tart cherry notes with light acidic and oak notes also perceptible. Taste is a mix of tart cherry notes with light acidic and oak notes with subtle residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very well-balanced between the tart and funky flavours and the fruits flavours.

nimbleprop (8922) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 24, 2017
500ml bottle pours a soft pink with some sticky, white head. Nice nose, berry patch, some orange rind, yogurt, a fair amount of rotty funk, neutral oak, light grist. Flavor kicks up the raw citrus pith, lemon and grapefruit here, some passion fruit, a lot of white berry here, less bright with the berry character, straw, wet wood, still a fair amount of funk. Medium / heavy finish, tart and a touch oily. Nicely done.

500ml bottle (thx, Alex L.!). Bottled on 2015-12-08. Pours a rose-ish golden with a slightly tan head. Aroma is fermented berries, some floral and barrel notes. Taste is similar. Quite good stuff.

500ml bottle obtained in a trade. Pours blood orange, scarlett, with a soft pinkish hue. White lasting fizzy/foamy head. Good carbonation. Smells fruity, sweet. Has that lambic bacteria funk to it. Very nice. Oak wood barrel profile finish on the nose with a smooth berry backing. Tastes wonderfully sweet. Citrus bitterness aspect with a full berry flavor profile. Has a slight grapefruit bitter/acidity to it. Nice tart, oaky backbone as well. Full tart, acidic mouthfeel. Crisp and clean finish with a fruity aftertaste. Overall its delicious. Very enjoyable. Could have a little less "citric acid-ness" to it but everything else is wonderful. Would have liked it to have more dark berry smoothness but what can ya do?

haukur (2124) - Kópavogur, ICELAND - APR 19, 2017
Bottle. Pinkish yellow with a small head. Aroma has loads of dust, wild berries, brett grassy notes. Acidic on the tongue, cardboard dryness. Dry oak notes. Nice, a bit under par from other Auval offerings, extremely dry.

QcBeer (200) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 17, 2017

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2017 500ml bottle thanks to pier Luc. Nose citrusy tartness with light malt. Nose a but shy at first but after some time there’s nice fruity brett. Taste citrusy tartness nice brett. Very smooth sour. Very elegant. Not too much in your face. Wow world class sour. Could have more character but still pretty awesome.

pinkish Orange body, funk, and decent tart finish. Very sippable stuff. Some lace lines. 18 months have still done it justice. Brian’s bottle.

pushkinwow (2961) - Ottawa, CANADA - NOV 27, 2016
Bottle via Ian. Opaque copper pour no head. Combo of cranberry with some cherry, slightly musty with a nice tartness, light oak and slightly jammy, moderate+ carbonation and pleasant body, smooth with a more funky finish. Enjoyable.
