UPDATED: SEP 27, 2017 750ml bottle obtained in a trade. Pours rosey purple, murky raspberry color. Thick micro bubble off white head with a slight pinkish hue. Long lasting and frothy. fruity, strong berry, okey, winey, with a slight lambic profile. Tastes fruity, berry, strong currant flavor. okey and lambics, proper aged funk. Properly soured with an earthy woody tinge. Crisp and medium mouthfeel. Great carbonation. Tart and lasting aftertaste. Overall amazing. Absolutely love it. Just what I had hoped for.

Pours pink cloudy with some head and lacing. Notes of barnyard, lemon, dark cherries. Taste medium sour, light sweet. Full sticky body lively carbionation lasting acidic finish. Quebeckers need to chill out on their ratings though. This beer is really, really good, but #13 in world?

Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 17, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2017 A pinkish burgundy ale with a thin white head. In aroma, beautiful mix of sweet fruity malt with, light Brett, light lactic notes, Gueuze like, very nice. In mouth, a nice tart fruity malt with dry character, light mineral notes, Epsom salts, very nice. 8-4-8-4-15

750ml bottle pours a bright purple/pink with some tight white head. Nose is OK, a little subdued, there is some muddled berry, more berry / berry leaf tea, mild funk, some red grape, a little medicine cabinet. Flavor has some funk, lemon rind, medicine cabinet, cheese, some bright Lambrusco, a little blackberry. Finishes a touch watery, but otherwise tart.

750ml bottle (thx, Alex G.!) shared with wife. Bottled on 2016-10-14. Pours a red opaque with a tan head. Aroma is tart, red currant, slightly earthy, barrel notes. Taste is similar. Quite dry, red currant aftertaste. Nice and pleasant, though, I would prefer more sweetness and less dryness.

haukur (1992) - Kópavogur, ICELAND - MAY 3, 2017
Cloudy pink with a white head. Ripe blackbarries dominate the aroma, hints of basement, brett, dust. Somewhat slightly acidic, loads of fruit, smooth with a sour dry finish. Cantillion-esque. Extremely nice. This brewery is bonkers!

(Rating #7530)

czar (9338) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - APR 8, 2017
pours unclear bright pink salmon with a reviving pink head offering good retention and lacing. delicate bretts, tasty small red fruits, some plums as well, zinfandel-ish grapes, on-the-spot acidity - complex fruity acids, woodsy foeder, very lightly bitter herbs, salty/mineral esker water. bright carbonation, smooth, drying and tart woodsy-fruity-citrusy finish. easily the best barrel-aged cassis tart ale i’ve had. exceptional juice.
