Auch ich kam in den Genuss dieses Bieres auf einer Bierbörse. Ein wenig wässrig kommt es daher, im selben Moment auch malzig. Im Nachgeschmack kommt eine dezente süße hinzu.
Lässt sich gut trinken.

Draught. Weak, slightly roasted, but pilsnerlike aroma. Dark brown colour, small creamy head. The flavour is quite roasted, as well as the aftertaste. Flavour also has a little fruitiness. A bit thin, but this is of course Schwarzbier. Camons (13718) - Hasselager, DENMARK - APR 6, 2013
Draught @ Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, brown sugar, light buttery. Flavor is rather weak and follows nose. Thin body, soft carbonation. 310313 pivnizub (11008) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 5, 2007
Flip-top bottle:Deep amber coloured, mid-sized tanned head, lacing and quickly diminishing to a small, stable creamy layer; a mix of dark malt, toasted and roasted malt in the quite dry aroma; robust dry (malty-) bitter flavour, light bodied; lingering malty, a bit coffeeish finish with a little sourness detectable. A good example, well crafted............. MartinT (10239) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 24, 2008
My Bottom Line:
Erzengel (10027) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 28, 2013
Prunes and figs shower the caramel maltiness with their fruity sagacity, as chocolate roams on by adding complexity to this sweet Tmavé.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam tops the brownish copper.
-The fruity sweetness in this may recall brown rum at times.
-The body is soft and well-rounded, the archetypal Tmavé build.
-That fruitiness (prune-driven) could get annoying to those who don’t like this kind of fruit.
On tap at Pivovarsky Klub.
Kaum CO², kein Schaum.
--> Mir zu intensiv-konzentriert!

Draught. Low and quickly disappearing fluffy off-white head. Clear dark red brown body. Mild caramel coffee flavor with sweet caramel and little hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste. Quack-Duck (9572) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 27, 2007
aroma of roasted malt. Beautiful colour and large, creamy and consistent head. Not as sweet as many Czech dark beers, quite dry and full of taste (coffee, caramel and roasted malt). Svesse (9222) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2015
(Draught at Hopfenreich, Berlin, 16 July 2015. 6.0% according to beer list) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee and caramel. Malty, roasted, slightly fruity taste with notes of raisins, prunes, coffee, chocolate and a gentle roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite fruity for a tmavý, but rather tasty. Quite nice. BlackHaddock (8141) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2012
International Green Week, Berlin 2012: our second day and we find ourselves in hall 17 where food and drink from Italy, Switzerland and The Czech Republic were on offer (as well as a few other countries) I notice a spare table and a couple of barstools, so plop the wife down and peruse the taps around me: I get the wife a Budweiser Budvar and myself this lovely looking ‘Schwarz aus Bohmen’ beer.
0.3 litres in a vase shaped, badged glass. A beige head sat on top of the ruby red body and all was well with the world. The smell was of dark fruits and malts; raisins, plums and dates being the fruits, caramel and toffee being the malt aromas.
The taste was very similar to the smells, but with some chocolate arriving mid-mouthful: might sound sweet but it wasn’t, smooth and almost creamy, but not overly sweet by any means.
