On tap at Avery poured a clear gold with a lasting whitew head. Aromas of straw, earthiness, pine and light grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Sample at The Daily Growler. This beer pours a hazy pale golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrusy hops, toasted malt and a bit of spice. The finish is mildly bitter with a grapefruit and hops aftertaste. Clear golden color, white head. Sort of thin, malty taste. Medium thin mouthfeel, dry finish. High bitterness. Malty and hoppy taste.
On tap. Labeled "3point5". Clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head, good lace. Nice grassy hop nose. Light body. Good smooth, kind of crisp carbonation. More dry finish. Satisfying moderate bitter taste. Satisfying hoppy session ale. 3point5 earns its 3.5. The industry needs more beers like this.
