UPDATED: JUL 29, 2012 On tap at Avery brewpub, where it was called something other than what RB has here - 3points session ale, I think. This was a totally superior light summer ale. It is hoppy and easy on the malts, with a low ABV - very fresh and tasty, with a little citrus and pine. Excellent - and not like any other brew that I can think of. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - SEP 28, 2012
Sampled on tap at the Avery Taproom on 9/28/2012. This American Pale Ale pours a light gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, fruity and hoppy. A medium to light bodied American Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. A touch of grain, some malts and some hops is a very nicely mixed. Definitely a good session ale. Very nice crisp and dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is a lingering slight bitterness. Ratman197 (15220) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 9, 2012

Draft. Crystal clear amber body, small white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, some grapefruit, light bread. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, some grapefruit, light straw/grass. Light-medium body, light resin. Body holds up quite nicely given the ABV, very nice session beer.

On tap at brewery. Surprisingly good for a 3.5. Hoppy aroma and a light refreshing body. A beer for after mowing the lawn. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Light amber pour with a white head. Strong floral hop aromas, citrus zest, and spice. Sweet bread, some toast, and hints of biscuit. Maybe a bit of tea, too. Light flavor of floral and grassy hops, tea, and toasted bread. Moderate citrus notes, hints of biscuit, and a subtle bitterness. peteinSD (1469) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 31, 2013
On tap. Looks, smells, and drinks like a bitter pale ale with pine and a dry malt backbone. Clean mouthfeel. There’s a lot of taste in here for a low ABV beer - well done. onceblind (10326) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Clearish dark gold with a nice persistent foamy white head. Grassy hop aroma with a touch of earthiness on the nose. Flavor has a really light body, though has a full and pleasant flavor. Smooth grassy leafy hop taste with a mellow sweetness from some grainy cereal notes. Nice bitterness from a beer so small, but that fresh lupulin-y tone gets annoying after a while. gnoff (10838) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 9, 2012
