COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We the Brewers of Avery Brewing Company, in order to form a more perfect ale, require a new leadership that can liberate us from our quagmires in foreign lands; embrace environmentally sound energy alternatives to imported oil; heal our ailing health care system; free us from tyrannical debt and resurrect the collapsing dollar. We hereby pledge to provide him or her with an ample amount of our Presidential Pale Ale to support in the struggle for the aforementioned goals! Hail to the New Chief!

Not an "Imperial" pale ale, this is a democracy. Its Presidential! Take the all-American pale ale, a bipartisan blend of malt and hops, increase to both Avery Brewing standards, and then, of course, dry hop the result with that most quintessential of American hops, Cascades, and you get this... Ale to the Chief. A brew worthy of the Oval Office! Brewed with Rocky Mountain water, malted barley, hops and yeast.

Bottle from Fermentation. Clear amber pour with a frothy white head with good lacing. Initial sweet caramel, toasted bread with piney and earthy hops. Chewy caramel maltiness in the flavor with toast, earthy and pine hops with notes of booze in the back end. Way too sweet for me, possibly an old bottle.

draft that poured a copper orange with whitish head. thinking this was a dipa and not an old ale makes more sense now. at first I thought I was a syrupy hop juice with a solid malt backbone. but the old ale makes more sense in the fact that it is driven by a strong malt offering in order to hold the hops and hints of honey. it was still syrupy sweet but its the style. overall drinkable for one.

Bottle to celabrate Erica coming home! Pours a hazy honey colored amber with a foamy kahki head that lasts and lacing. Aroma is sweet sugary caramel with a mix of citrus and pine. Taste is soft bitterness with a really nice caramel mix that includes some nuts, toffee, lemon and pine. Palate is medium to full with a creamy body that leaves a dry finish.

22 oz bottle at home (I have had this but decided not to wait to find the notes). Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized ivory colored head. The aroma and flavor have sweet and toasted malts, caramel, fruit character, floral and grassy hops, mild bitterness to moderate bitterness, decent enough, I probably would have rated this higher when I had this originally.

Clear deep golden color with a medium size foamy head. Sweet fruity and piney hops, sweetness, sweet malt, alcohol and mild bitterness in the aroma. The flavor is dark fruity and piney malt, sweetness, sweet malt and some alcohol. I cant say whats missing but something...

Not a big fan of this beer. Tried at the Waiting Room with Jess in 2016. Malty and a little sour.

22oz bottle poured at home. Very caramel forward. Glad I am having this fresh, otherwise it would be an orange bomb that I hate. Good, but not sure I need pickup another bottle anytime soon.

Bottle from WOB. Caramel color with three finger white head. Caramel sweet malt, floral hop and spice aroma. Good earthy malt/hop balance coupled with something sweet and a little spice. Theres got to be some cream in here too. Very smooth.
