4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
22oz Bottle. Aroma is pretty mellow, but has fruit, spice, and yeast to it. The taste is of heavy yeast with some spice, a bit of fruit (some peach, banana, some others I can’t really tell) along with some notable pepper and again...yeast! A good, well bodied beer with a solid mouthfeel and a great finish. Smooth, carbonated and to the point. This is absolutely up there with the rest of Avery’s best! 8.2% abv.
Cloudy golden color with a taller off-white head. Pale malt, light citrus, flour and glue scents. Thin flavors with a nearly sour finish. Husky and grainy. Not terrible, but not overly clear. 5/12

Did not like this one too much, pretty strong alcohol taste, definitely taste like a Belgian beer but I failed to see the appeal, perhaps I waited too long to drink it? kevinator (2867) - The Colony, Texas, USA - FEB 16, 2017
Very nice. Aromas and flavors of fruit, Belgian spicy yeast and wheat. Light and dry. Nice dirty golden color. chinchill (5377) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 25, 2016
12 oz bottle.with a 6-2014 bottling date and a 6-2019 BB date.
The hazy light copper colored body has a durable if short off-white head. Good lacing.
Aroma: tart and fruity: much more like a gose than a tripel.
Flavor: As tart as it smells, and then some; at least as much like a gose as a tripel..Higher ABV evident.
Feel: medium carbonation; medium-light body. Dry finish.

Bottle at Avery. Pours hazy gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like dried light fruit, Belgian yeast, light spice, light herb. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet dried fruits, light yeast, light herb. halfonit (1412) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Bottled in April 2012. I picked this bottle up at a store that is going out of business soon and they had a bunch of aged beers there (I’m sure it wasn’t planned though). Pours a hazy light golden color with a little amber color and a thick white head. Aroma is of yeast, citrus, cloves, a little skunk, and a little pine. Nice, heavier bubbly palate. Flavor is of malts, esters, pine, cloves, citrus, bread, and some sweetness. Leaves a citrus yeast finish. Nice and balances. Having a beer aged 2.5 years will do that though. slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"A fairly traditional tripel...a bit on the dry sweet and perhaps a touch sweet for the Belgian standard, but they got the style down pretty good. Classic nothing wrong beer that was quite good, but didn’t wow me. Worthy of a bottle, but an anniversary?" Mark_Eck (1998) - - AUG 5, 2014
Pours a cloudy yellow color. Aroma and taste are malts, yeast, and starts medium sweet with a lightly bitter finish. sinfull (1846) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JUN 28, 2014
Hazy yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of yeast, malt , fruits and flowers. Sweet malty , fruity taste with light bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation. Decent tripel , but from Avery i expected for more.
