Bottle @ Københavnske Øldage 2007 in Copenhagen. Unclear medium brown color with a average forthy / fizzy fair lacing mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, molasses / bread, roadsted, toffee, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration. Very nice balance ! Body is full, texture is oily, syrupy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. yespr (47115) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 29, 2007
CBF07 sample from 22 oz bottle. Pours amber brown. Aroma of malt and dried fruit, raisins. Flavour of malt and dried fruit, sweet and soft. Hops appear in the finish. Has a fullbodied feel without any real alcohol presence. Ungstrup (38249) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2006
A hazy deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet and very malty with quite strong notes of roasted malt, as well as lighter notes of rye bread and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, as well as lighter notes of spices and roasted sausages - I have no idea what gives me that last impression. The end brings a slight alcohol burn in the throat. Tasted this blind and found no traces of the wheat - closer to a standard doppelbock than a weizenbock. All in all I’m not that fond of this beer. joergen (28991) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2006

Bottled. Dark brownish ruby colour, big beige head. Aroma is alcohol, plum and a bit glueish. Flavour is malty, alcoholic and bananas. Some roast and smoke also. Lovely balanced. Pleasantly done and a great session beer. omhper (25570) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 20, 2006
[Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm] Very dark brown, small head. Aroma of banana and burnt malt. Sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Plenty of medicinal esters. Near full bodied with notes of chocolate and molasses. Syrupy finish with plenty of candy, caramel and banana. Flavourful, but somewhat raw and unrefined. madmitch76 (25383) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2011

Clear dark brown beer. Short lived tan head. Smooth malty caramel - chocolate with a banana streak. Silky spirity malt. A biting carbonation before the malty-spirity finish. A boozy bananoffee surprise!
(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, reddish brown with a beige head. Vinous, alcoholic aroma. Quite full-bodied with sweetish notes of dried and overripe fruit. Somewhat sweet malt and some accents of wood. No real bitterness but quite some alcohol in the finish. Quite delicate. 061006 fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 26, 2007
Dark brown color; thin head, not persistent. The aroma is light, with caramel and very light roasted malt. The body strength is ok, with dominant caramel flavor, also malt, roasted malt, liquorice and a light sourish note, probably the wheat. Closer to a Barley Wine than anything else, but not impressive.
