Bottled May 2013
It’s golden with a soapy loose sheet of white foam and brilliant clarity. Smells of lots of grapefruit, resin, some orange peel, some sage, onion and a little malt. Flavor is malt, lots of onion (long steamed), resin, sweet malt, a little too sweet for my chops on the style. Medium bodied with moderate carb and a wet finish. Medium love for this beer overall, seems too sweet and the onion character isn’t one I usually go for. Glouglouburp (6103) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 15, 2013
In short: A fruity 10% IPA that is surprisingly smooth and easy drinking. Good beer. kathouse (1890) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - NOV 7, 2013
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed fresh one month after the beer release.
The look: Clear shining rusty orange body topped by a persistent small white head leaving lots of lacings on the glass.< br/>
In long: Nose is fruity hops but with a less common signature that lies in the cantaloupe and exotic fruits territory. In mouth the beer offers a clean mouthfeel with adequate carbonation. Taste starts with a solid and crispy-clean malt backbone, toasted cereals, sundried burnt hay and a sweetness that feels like dried fruits. Then comes a whole lot of fruity hops but with a signature that is really not aggressive. A round and smooth fruity bitterness of low-medium intensity. Sweetness sensation is relatively low for such a beer and there is almost no alcohol presence. Happy twentieth anniversary Avery, nothing wrong with a twenty year old American brewery being on ratebeer, but if you are an American ratebeerian and you are twenty years old or younger please have your parents sign on the line so I know it was ok for you to read this rating
Orange in color with a nice white foam. Great citrus hop aroma with just a hint of pine. Big sweet body is balanced with a piney flavor. Finish is slightly bitter. jkwalking05 (4735) - Arlington, Texas, USA - NOV 1, 2013
On tap at World of Beer in Arlington. Hazy copper with a large off-white head. Aroma is of orange, lemon, caramel, dank hops. Taste is very dank, hibiscus, juicy orange, pine. Nice lasting bitterness. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - OCT 26, 2013
22 oz. bottle. Pours an orangish golden color with a bright white head. Aroma of big hops. Lots of pine, citrus, gum ball, and grapefruit hops. Flavor is quite bitter and delicious. Lots of hop bitterness and fruity sweetness. Quite delicious. Full bodied, medium carbonation. Lots of bitter delicious hops in the finish. Wonderful DIPA.

Draft. Hard to distinguish nuances in the nose due to fat ass next to me smoking cigars. Really. Take that shit somewhere else. Piney and resiny. Finishes with a drying slight astringency. Excellent hop flavor but somewhat muddled by a nondescript malt sweetness. Gonna kick that guy with the cigar.

Bottle on the couch.
Fairly light yellow-orangey pour, clear. Thick bright white head, which persists quite nicely.
Nose is full of citrus (blood orange?) and HOPS!
Lovely full and rich flavour; mild caramel, apricot, hoppy herbs - even a little prickly on the tongue - boozy bitter finish. Well balanced. Very good. anderson01 (356) - Spirit Lake, Idaho, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Cloudy in appearance. Orange in color with a frothy white head. Lacing looks like snow-covered mountains. Strong hoppy aroma. There is a hint of citrus in the aroma. First thing i tasted was peaches. Smooth texture with a creamy finish. Banana in the taste. Full-bodied beer with average carbonation. This is the first beer i have ever tasted with peaches. This was an awesome beer. Real celebration for IPA lovers.
The only thing I feel sorry about - I had only one bottle :)
