What else? What else would you expect from us, a bunch of severely hop obsessed brewers, to celebrate such a glorious occasion? Anything other than a massively hopped IPA would be an affront to our rich history of loving excessive use of that beautiful flower, Humulus Lupulus.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is solid hoppy, grapefruity and light peachy. Bitter, smooth fruity, grapefruity and peachy. Lingering smooth hoppy.

Bottled. A golden beer with lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle at yespr. Clear golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of hops, citrus peel and pine needles. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, hops and pine needles with notes of grapefruits. Hoppy finish.

Draft. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Nice floral aroma with tons of tropical fruits. Taste is fruity and balanced, but boozy. Very tasty. Wish it was less boozy.

Draft - Passionfruit and grapefruit. Gold with a nice thick white head. All tropical fruits, big papaya and a mild bitterness. A bit on the sweet side but Avery accessible DIPA with no hit of the alcohol.

Copper pour with a white head. Sweet, malt forward nose. Lots of caramel, some brown sugar, and tons of fruit. Pineapple, guava, grapefruit, mango, and peach. Nice flavor, but also quite sweet. Pineapple, guava, grapefruit, and mango. A bit of alcohol, lots of caramel, brown sugar, and a light bitterness.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a clear orange gold with small frothy white head. Aroma is fruity hops and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with light citrus flavor and sweet hop and light bitterness in finish. Hides alcohol extremely well. Very impressive IIPA from Avery.

Tap at Octobachi, Charleston. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The nose is fresh orange, tangerine, mango, straw, light barnyard and white bread toast. The taste is crisp, orange, mango, tangerine, light booze, hay, pithy lime, earth and grass with a bitter finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Pretty delicious.

Bomber poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, kind bud, orange zest, tropical fruit, peach and light pink grapefruit. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, orange zest, kind bud, pink grapefruit and light tropical fruit with a smooth dry moderatly bitter finish.
