Hazy golden color. Deep sour and fruity aroma, apricots. Aggressive sourness, some fruit presence, some vinegar, strong but not very elegant.
22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of apricots, oak and a bit of wild yeast. Flavour is very tart and rather acidic, with lots of tart apricots, some lacto and tons of acidity. Very fruity, tart and acidic, with an oaky character on the finish. On tap at Avery poured a hazy apricot with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of straw, apricot and light funk. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. On draught at Bob’s Bar during the "Avery Summer Showcase!" event on 06/29/2017. The beer is a cloudy orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of apricot, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart apricot, funky yeast, oak and biscuit malt. The finish is moderately sour and oaky with a stone fruit aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
