On draft at Falling Rock during GABF weekend. Wrote this down as "Avery Sour Apple" but he descriptions here seem to fit the bill. Whoa this was an acid reflux inducer here. Pours a darkish unclear orange. Big green apple, tannic, oak, a little vanilla. Lots of tartness. Really pretty clean finish that is slightly dry. Really liked this. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 20, 2013

Draft @ FreshCraft, Denver CO. Pours a hazy golden beer without any head on top. Aroma of ripe apples, oak and some brett-like characters. Flavor is rather sour, tarty and very fruity. Sour apple influences are definitely present. Dry, oaky aftertaste and medium short finish. Decent brew. dogfish120love (1333) - Westfield, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 11, 2013

Draft sampled at the brewpub. Pours hazy amber orange with a small off white head. Aroma of apples, brett, barnyard funk. Flavour is over moderate acidic. Getting closer to a cider than a beer. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. SmokeyDaBear (150) - - OCT 9, 2013
5oz taster poured at Avery's taproom. Smells and tastes like apples. Beer is delicious and super sour with large amount of apple. I want to drink this all the time!!! Beer is so well done!! Azand222 (171) - Westminster, Colorado, USA - OCT 9, 2013
12 months in an oak barrel, with Granny Smith apples added for the last 6 months. The Granny Smiths are very very sour, one of my favorite sours. A sweet beer overall, light appearance with orange; thin head. Be prepared for the initial hit of sour. Brouwerij (959) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 5, 2013
Tap at Avery. Pours a hazy orange gold with quickly settling, small head. No lacing. Aroma is tart, sour, lactic, tart green apple. Flavor is mildly tart up front, fading into a tart apple finish. Was afraid the apple would be over the top, too fruity and dominant, however it blends seamlessly with the tartness of the beer. Moderate carbonation, medium light body, and mildly dry finish. A very tasty, fruity sour. Excellent.
