12 oz bottle from Mr. B’s Wine & Spirits. Cloudy orange appearance with a diminishing white head. Funky, fruity, vinous and musty aroma and flavor with notes of grape skins, light citrus zest, light yeast and hints of white wine over a medium body. Nice, but possibly past its prime.

Beaver (1904) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 17, 2015
12 oz bottle bought 3/9/12. Pours clear yellow gold with a fizzy white head that goes to a thin splash.

The aroma is musty white wine with some brett, fruit, oakey vanilla, and alcohol.

The flavor is very dry white wine with some sweet sugary fruits (grape) and a little funk in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a little carbonation.

Overall, an interesting white wine brett beer.

12 oz bottle. Brett heavy quite a bit of funk. But no sour. Vanilla, probably from the oak. Touch of white wine.

Tasted on 11/16/13 from a capped 12oz bottle at our Avery Barrel-Aged tasting. Pours clear pale yellow with a thin white head that quickly disappears. The nose is all about the grapes, smells quite a bit like a dessert wine, very aromatic, with some oaky sweetness and a bit of cinnamon. The flavor is sweet as expected, a marshmallow note, some oak, very lightly tart and grapey vinous. The body is medium and tannic with stinging carbonation and a long vinous and lightly sweet oaked finish.

Faint wine smell. Foamy mouthfeel that I didn’t care for. Chardonnay taste (which I’m not a fan of) and an unusual amount of alcohol flavor.

Bottle courtesy of BeerandBlues2, thank you sir! Slightly hazy golden yellow color, scant head. Aroma of dusty overripe grapes, subtle white pepper. Taste is softly sour and dusty summer fruit. I was shocked to see that this is nearly 11%. Very tasty.

Bottle thanks to Rick. Pours a cloudy yellow with no head. The aroma is strong oak, brett, funk. Medium mouthfeel with nice tart grape, funk, wood, tart finish. Very good.
