Bottleshare thanks to Dexercat. Pours a dark amber, white head. Aroma is fruity, cherry, fruity, yummy. Taste is light bodied, tasty, sour, tart, still get cherry and dark fruits. Really tasty,

Pours a mahogany with more red than typically seen. Fair lacing and great legs. Aroma is tart raspberry, lightly earthy-woody with some grassy-floral as well. Taste is mostly the berry, with some of the musty yeast character and rich earth from the cab sauv. High carbonation but a bit lack luster on the tongue in terms of body, and I like a higher carb bite in sours. Very good beer though.

355 ml bottle. Bottled on 21.09.2012.
Pours dark mahogany color with a small head. Cherries, raspberries and lots of wood on the nose. Fruity and crisp flavor with cherries and raspberries, some sour notes, also lactic notes, barrel notes not present. Nice and sour but the balance is a bit off.

355ml bottle from a trade, thanks wchesser!

Bottled SEPT 21 2012 - Pours dark reddish brown with a foamy head. Aroma of sour raspberries, wood, vinous notes, oak, yeast and tartness. Taste is sour, sweetish and vinous with loads of raspberries, ripe tart fruits and funky yeast. Finish is mouth dryingly sour and lactic with notes of tart raspberries and vinous oakiness. Quite complex and massive sour ale.

lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 19, 2014
355 ml bottle. Pours a dark copper amber colour with a small head. Aroma of raspberries, pie, gooseberry bush and toffee. Flavour of sharp and tart red berries, some herbal notes, soured milk, herbal notes and lactic acid. Medium bodied and a sharp, tart, berryish finish. Alcohol comes through. The lactic acid notes ruin this. Barrel is not very present either.

35,5 cl bottle @ olio, bottled 21.09.2012
Aroma is sour with lots of berries, sweet maltiness and some red wine. Flavour is very tart and sour with red wine, currants, some vinegar and sour cherries. Also some lactic acid and tart raspberry tones. I like the aggressive sourness here. Even though this is close to a Flamish red ale.

Bottle. This is tasting really yummy right now. Perfect balance of fruity, seedy raspberries and lactic vinous funk. Really need a couple more bottles to save for later. This is a keeper.

gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - JUL 4, 2014
Bottle- kindly shared by Dennoman. Poirs deep amber with a steady eggshell white head. Aromas include fresh tart raspberries and cranberries, oak barreled grapes and a hint of cherry vinegar. Light body, strong on the sour character, tastes of tart fruits, balsamic vinegar. Not the most balanced American sour, but noble through its fruits and barreling.

jbeatty (1266) - New York, USA - JUN 4, 2014
Bottle, 06/04/2014. Pours reddish brown, ruby highlights, cream head quickly burns away leaving a small ring of lacing around the glass. Aroma is sour raspberry, round lactic character, yogurt with a bit of honey, vinous finish, quite woody. Taste is quite tart, sour raspberries, cherries, very acidic, touch of vinegar, red wine finish lingering. Light, spritzy body. Nice sour.

Bottle pour clear amber with cabernet hues and quickly dissipating thin head. Nose sour funk, raspberry, wine, oak with a hint of earthy. Taste big tart and sour up front, More cherry than raspberry to me. Tartness lasts throughout. I don’t get much barrel in the flavor.
