12 oz bottle, bottled on Sept. 21, 2012. Pours hazy reddish-brown with a fast-collapsing beige head. Aroma is nice and funky, woody, bretty, vanilla. Taste is mouth-puckering sour and acidic, finishes with a tannic dryness; itís fruity, although I wouldnít guess raspberries if the label didnít mention them. Body is full, prickly mouthfeel. Excellent! WildcardZone (6) - Montana, USA - JUL 1, 2013 does not count

Courtesy Secret Santa 2014. You are my new best friend. In the close to 9 years Iíve been on here rating beer, Iíve had an OCD about giving a perfect score in any category. My perfect score was a 4.5 by giving just under the highest score in each category. At last I must break that tradition. This beer may be the best beer Iíve ever had. Aroma was strongly vinous and vinegary with a light raspberry background. Pour was a beautiful murky dark brown in the middle with dark red around the edges. Taste was mind blowing AND I MEAN MINDBLOWINGly sour. The sourness literally made me pucker my lips for a second. Strong raspberry, vinegar and just a hint of sour grape skins. Nice carbonation for the style. I could write another paragraph but I gotta finish this gem. thebitterendaz (35) - Alabama, USA - JUL 12, 2013
Reddish pour out of Bottle as a gift for the wife from fellow Rateberr-er Daknole.. Aroma of berries, tart grapes, red wine vinegar, lactic sourness. Fruity and sour flavors. Pleasantly tart and acidic with a nice raspberry flavor. Avery really knocked this out the park, one of my favorite sours. nbondi (203) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 5, 2013
Burnt amber, nose of oak, raspberry, rubber, medium body, good carbonation. Raspberry, red wine, oak, dusty cellar. Raspberry shines through beautifully. Fantastic.

Pours a dark amber color with a fizzy off white head from a 12 ounce bottle. Aroma is very oak/wine/sour with some malt and caramel, very complex. Flavor is very sour but very smooth with some wine and oak. Finish is astringent but awesome. Mouth feel is dry and sour and carbonation is average. Overall this is a delicious beer. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - NOV 30, 2012

12 oz. bottle- Pours hazy dark ruby red with a ring of foam around the edges. The aroma is tart of course, but what is unique is the mellow yet sustaining fruity quality, it is there, but not in your face, I love it! The taste is wow, so much different than expected, I taste blackberries, could be raspberries, but not fruity in the traditional sense, which intrigues me, tart, very complex, drinkable in a non koolaid way(which is good). Overall I loved it, unique and different, and not to mention awesome! hopscotch (11044) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Bottle... Blazerís low-key O-Town Throwdown 2012Ö This beer rocks!Ö Clear burnt-amber pour with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Good retention. The aroma promises acidic, funky, vinous, fruity and toasted oak notes. Full-bodied and creamy with laid-back carbonation. The flavor and finish deliver on the noseís promise in that both are fruity, vinous, oaken and sour as Hell. There may be more eloquent ways to describe it, but why waste words and time when you can really drive a point home? World class beer! scooter520 (185) - - JAN 25, 2013
Bottled 9/21/12. Appearance: slightly hazy, chestnut brown and tints of orange with tightly bubbled off-white head. Aroma: tart raspberries, oak, barnyard funk, dust, dark cherry. Taste: starts very tart and oaky, leads into some barnyard and dust, ending is tart and bright raspberry/dark cherry fruity and the wine barrel shows through. Mouthfeel: thin to medium texture with medium carbonation. Overall: very complex and delicious. Super sour like I like with just great fruit and wine barrel aged qualities shining through.
