Ever so slightly hazy peach and copper coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of ginger, bourbon, alcohol, malt, spices, gin and way more alcohol and somehow even more pure ginger - strong throughout. Full-bodied; Biting ginger and rum flavours at first with a deep spicey pungency and a lot of depth from all of the alcohol notes with some tequilla, rum, bourbon and the strongest - gin flavours dominating the flavour. Aftertaste shows a bit more character, but it’s still on the deep end with the spices, ginger, malt and gin/tequilla flavours the strongest, definitely packing a punch and a barrelly-aged flavour in throughout this one. Overall, a decent beer, but far too strong for me and the alcohol flavours were not my favourite, plus the spices were deep and the ginger was too strong. I wouldn’t recommend it at all, mostly due to the flavours, but also the price tag, especially for such a beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from SuperMarket Liqours in Fort Collins, Colorado on 05-June-2017 for US$8,99 sampled in my hotel room here in Cheyenne, Wyoming on 06-June-2017. dfinney23 (3424) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 4, 2017
Lots of ginger plus some bourbon and oak. Not really any sign of the base beer, though what’s here is pretty tasty. anders37 (27283) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 19, 2017
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden pale orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty woody spicy ginger aroma. Fruity malty spicy ginger flavor with weak hints of bourbon. Has a fruity malty spicy woody ginger finish. fiery1 (1763) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 26, 2017
355ml bottle @ Matt’s. Pours a clear rusty orange colour. Nose is sweet soapy ginger notes. Flavour is sweet ginger juice with a alcohol bourbon kick. Oakes (19045) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 26, 2017
Amber, bright. But no head. A lot of ginger on the nose here...a lot. Dark and stormy...a fair bit of alcohol, but yeah, a simplistic dark and toffee character. A bit simple, all told.

Tasting at Matt’s mcberko (19222) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 26, 2017
Golden of light amber color, clean, with small head. Aroma of ginger, some bourbon. Soft mouthfeel, sweet, but not syrupy, ginger candy, alcohol, and bourbon.
Decent, drinkable, but over the top.
12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings out copious amounts of ginger, no hint of bourbon. Flavour brings out a nice mix of bourbon and ginger, with moderate spiciness and a little sweetness from the bourbon. Truly bizarre, but it works pretty well. Too gimmicky, but still good. This brew pours a hazy copper color with a medium frothy off-white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of oak, bourbon, malt and ginger. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, caramel malt and spicy ginger. The finish is oaky with a Kentucky Mule aftertaste. Pretty good overall. Dr_MedievAle (215) - Alabama, USA - OCT 10, 2016
Pours a crystal clear apple juice. Smells of ginger, honey, cinnamon, and nilla wafer. No head whatsoever. Tastes of the above: apple juice, ginger, honey, etc. Finishes on a spicy apple-cinnamon boozy note. Creamy on the palate with tingling carbonation. Pretty sound beer. Not super delicious, as the ginger is strong with this one. But refreshing, and at 10 percent, that is no small feat. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - OCT 9, 2016
[9/7/2016] On tap at Churchkey : Brown and golden body. Nose is ginger and bourbon. Taste is ginger, malts, quite sweet. Cloying and smooth texture. Nice kick to it!
