The_Osprey (9343) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 28, 2017
September 2017 - Theydon Bois' 20K Tasting at One Canada Square. Bottle thanks to Kenny. As 'Avery Lunctis Viribus', 5.4%. Hazy browny-orange, foamy light brown head leaves light lacing. Aroma is airy, plenty of fruit cake and cranberry. Body is light and frothy with tingly carbonation. Taste is orange cake, tangy citrus zest, sugary orange, little syrup. Decent. (7-4-6-3-15=3.5)

jandd1983 (4637) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - OCT 15, 2017
Sampled at the 2017 Beer Fest. It poured a reddish color with a white head. The aroma was of tequila, wood and wine. The taste was similar to the aroma with more tequila, wine, wood and funk. It was medium bodied with a sour aftertaste. Really good.

Fairly murky amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and fairly minerally crisp. Mild sourness/tartness, never acid. Sherbet. Tangy lemon and generic fruits, a mild winey tang. Light crisp sherbetty finish. My kinda sour, mouth watering and never mouth puckering!

Leighton (22550) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2017
Bottle shared in London on cloin's 20k - cheers to mitchy. Pours unclear deep orange-amber with a small, creamy white head. Strong sweat and tart berries in the nose, some leather. Light-medium sweet flavour with assertive acidity, more tart berries, old cherries, a little oaky dryness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Drying finish, with a little warmth, more acetic bite, ripe and tangy and leathery berries. Not bad.

Bottle split at my 20 KAY tastin, thanks to the Kenneth, 13/09/17.
Slightly murked amber with a decent light beige cap.
Nose is light pissy pants, spice, caramel, fruit loaf, mellow barrel.
Taste comprises funk, wine tang, white grape must, wooded tones, vinous, tarte citric peel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a puckering schmack.
Decent enough sour machine.

Scopey (15879) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2017
Bottle at L42. It pour some hazy mahogany brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, oaky, agave, bready, tangy fruits, vinous, tangy, bit of sour candy, toffee and vanilla. The taste is dry, vinous, lactic, pickled onion monster munch, lemon sherbet, vinours, gooseberry, vinous, decent hit of acidity and celery with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting stuff, but not sure it quite comes together harmoniously.

Gerbeer (4049) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 19, 2017
12 oz bottle. Pours a deep mahogany/red with little head. Aromas of cherries, old wet oak, and bandaids. Flavors of tart red berries, unripened blackberries, oak, and grainy malts. Maybe a little tequila but not much cab coming though.

pushkinwow (2909) - Ottawa, CANADA - AUG 1, 2017
Bottle from Capones. Somewhat clear mahogany with a faint copper head that completely disappears. Sour malty mash with some aguava, tannin, burnt molasses, acidic, mild carbonation and full bodied, dried sour plum rinds with more barrel coming through.

Capa (3499) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - JUL 30, 2017
Slightly muddy reddish brown. Wine notes from the start with sour berries beyond. Some sweetness from the malt, tart fruit, vanilla, faint oak. I missed any tequila notes, which was fine by me. Sour, dry finish. A very enjoyable brew.
