Pours an orange copper color with white head. Tart lemony with touch of wood and hint of the tequila.

Notes: bottle in thanksgiving, '17

Bottle. Pours clear Amber, medium off white head, good lacing. Aroma of oak tannins, vanilla, boozy, light funk. Flavor is medium tart, very light funk. I get a bit of tequila on the tongue, no cherry though. This tastes like a BA Amber sour. Medium body. Wait, some cherry pokes out as it warms. Getting more interesting...

Mooch tasting at Matt's
Cloudy amber color, no head. The aroma is funky, fruity. Smooth mouthfeel, dry, not erak, with sharp acidity and asteingency, lemon peel, and barrel.
Very good, aggressive.

355ml bottle @ Matt’s. Pours a hazy copper red colour with a small off-white head. Nose is tequilla, wood, with what I assume is a subtle cherry note. Flavour is sour tequilla, with a slight cherry character. Drinks like a semi sweet cherry margarita with wood.

Oakes (19010) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 23, 2017
Light amber-brown colour, with a thin head. The cherry pops in the nose, with bretty tartness and a big toasted barrel nose, that does seem to show some tequila. Big tart, bracing, but is also rounded and fruity. It’s nice - the wood balances a little bit of the bracing stuff, but there is some balance as well.

12 oz. bottle, sent from wchesser (thanks a lot, Will!), pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of tequila, with plenty of barrels and cherries. Flavour is loaded with tequila barrels, with moderate tartness, a little acidity and subdued cherries. Tons of tequila presence that mixes well with the tartness. Very good.

Bottle - Barrel and cherry with a touch of caramel. Clear copper with a small white head. Barrel, caramel and sweet cherry with a light tequila barrel finish. Much better than I expected.

Emeister84 (2594) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - MAY 23, 2017
Aromas of tart cherry, brine. Orange-copper with a fairly lasting white head. Very sour, very tart, some must, cherry fruit. Medium bodied.

Quick3Beers (1456) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 18, 2017
Pours a hazy mahogany from a bottle, tequila aroma. Light cherry flavor over tequila, tart and sour throughout. Pretty good beer.

MarcoDL (5413) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 7, 2017
Bottle at tasting. Aroma of cherry, tart and some booze. Flavor of tart, cherries, acidic fruits, booze and some salt in the finish. Fairly simple, but nice.
