Bottle at tasting. Aroma of cherry, tart and some booze. Flavor of tart, cherries, acidic fruits, booze and some salt in the finish. Fairly simple, but nice. Iphonephan (7000) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - MAR 29, 2017
From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a murky brown with a quickly receding tan head. Aroma of sour apples and tart cherries. Flavors of oak and a hint of tequila. Tart finish. fischersfriend (29) - Statesville, North Carolina, USA - MAR 25, 2017
Bottled 3/10/16. Very good sour. A bit pricey. It is aged in tequila barrels, but i did not get a very significant flavor from its ageing . Overall good beer but probably not worth the price in comparison to similar brews. I by no means regret buying it and would buy again and would recommend anyone to try it. Just dont see it has a great value.

Bottle from Beergium. Slightly hazy reddish copper with dirty white head. Tart aroma with sweet cherries, almonds, oak and light yeast. Spritzy mouthfeel. Taste is more tart, sweet cherry, a bit of lemon juice, a bit vinous oak character. Overall very good but lacks a bit of complexity for it to be spectacular. Dogbrick (13126) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - FEB 4, 2017
This beer pours a hazy reddish-mahogany color with a thin white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tart cherry, yeast and oak. Medium body with flavors of sour cherry, vanilla, oak and subtle tequila. The finish is tart and oaky with a lingering tart cherry aftertaste. Pretty good beer all around. Hoprider (695) - DENMARK - FEB 4, 2017
Pours a murky deep orange with very little head. The nose offers a mix between boozy barrel and peach. The taste is fairly cheesy but also vinous with mild cherry and light apricot. No real sign of tequila so far. Very mineral and drying but also zesty and citric. The mouthfeel is medium with a medium lasting aftertaste. drjay44 (3734) - Salida, Colorado, USA - JAN 22, 2017
12 oz. bottle. Bottled Mar 10 2016. Pours a thick, rapidly collapsing ivory head, over a hazy, effervescent amber (SRM 14) body.......nose is moderate acid, with vinous tones, moderate dried fruits including raisin, cherry, mild funk.......taste is moderate tart acid, light cherry, moderate vinous notes, light oak, moderate funk, finishing with lingering acid, light Tequila tones......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. The barrel and cherry are relatively hidden by the acid and funk, but help add to the complexity in both aroma and flavor in this refreshing Ale.
