12oz bottle to snifter. Lots of booze on the nose. Thinner bodied. All adjuncts are present, albeit subtly. Sweet finish but not over the top. bookman10 (1179) - Osseo, Minnesota, USA - OCT 27, 2016
Pours a rather watery black (not as thick and oily as you’d expect), with minimal, almost no head. Aroma of vanilla, dark fruit, booze, bourbon, cherry, chocolate. Flavor is strongly vanilla, with some cocoa, just a slight touch of heat from the chiles, more than a little bourbon/booziness, plum, cherry, some licorice. Very smooth with a touch of the chile pepper heat in the finish. Quite tasty. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 23, 2016
Bottle. Poured a black color with a tan head. Chocolate, vanilla, chili peppers (not over bearing), lighter spices, and bourbon. Lighter hot spice in the finish with the alcohol overall hidden.

From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla and bourbon. Flavors of cocoa with a chili bite. Complex and luscious. Christpuncher (3191) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 17, 2016
aromoa is of bourbon and some smokiness. flavor is well balanced, sweet, bourbon, and smokey ham. really easy to drink versus the abv. pours black with a thin tan head. had out of a 12 oz bottle at home. emusche (209) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 6, 2016
Pours black with a thin, but sticky, tan head. Aroma is big bourbon, getting some vanilla bean and cacao too, some alcohol wafts off the top as well. Taste is bourbon, sweet vanilla, cinnamon, burn of the chiles at the back of the throat, and just a bit of that turn-your-head-booziness as well. Delicious. August 2016 - Bottle share on level 42, with thanks to Leighton. As ’Avery Xolotl’, 13.7%. Opaque black with a foamy brown head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, coconut. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is vanilla, spicy chocolate syrup, drying harsh booziness. Rich and tasty but tangy harsh booze. Some very nice aspects just too harsh. Pours black into a tulip. Mocha head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing to coat surface. Chocolate and vanilla aromas. Sweet cinnamon and chocolate upfront turning to warming bourbon before the lasting vanilla and chile burn. Interesting how the ingredients show themselves at different times...
