5 oz from tap into sniffer at Churchkey in DC. Really tasty, but honestly it tastes like a less-well-balanced Prairie Bomb. Vanilla comes strong on the front with some malt and a hint if the cocoa. Finish is lightly spicy then heavy booze then moderate spice. The type of beer I want to drink by the campfire while watching the snow fall around me in December. jc1762 (1704) - JAPAN - SEP 8, 2016
Tap into a snifter showing pitch black with no head.
The nose is exactly like hot cocoa. This is great.
The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Flavors of dry milk chocolate or hot cocoa and a slightly alcohol spice. Not much else. solidfunk (9951) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - SEP 7, 2016
Some chili and vanilla. Black pour with ok head and lacing. Light bourbon. Only tastes like a 14% beer, not a 17% beer. Tap at Churchkey. Travlr (27322) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 7, 2016

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Almost clear brown beer, thin pale tan head. Soft smooth palate. Soft dark malts, dry. Spice. Fruity bourbon and vanilla. Modest dark chocolate. Mild coffee. Spicy boozy finish. Rich and well integrated but not outstanding.
12oz bottle shared by Bvery, thanks buddy! Dark brown pour. Really sweet boozy aroma, some vanilla, aroma is off the charts. Taste follows, slight chillies, everything is so well balanced. Really amazing beer! BVery (11628) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - AUG 27, 2016
Bottle from Avery. Dark brown pour. Aroma is dark roast, chilies, cinnamon. Medium to slick palate, full flavored. Vanilla comes out. Lots of big elements in this, but balanced beautifully. Awesome. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 23, 2016
